POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As we officially close the chapter on our 18-1 National season, it's hard to put into words what this team has meant to us.

To these incredible young men... thank you.

Thank you for your commitment, your trust, your competitiveness, your resilience, and for the countless memories you gave us this season. You challenged yourselves, supported one another, and grew into a true team. Watching your friendships strengthen and your confidence grow was every bit as rewarding as the wins.

Coach Doug, Coach Rich, and I are so grateful we had the opportunity to be part of your journey. We laughed, competed, learned, and created memories that we'll carry with us for years to come. ❤️

Traditional signing of the shirts as we closed out the season! Love you all and we will always be here for you!!! #Velocity18National #allin #thankyoulord

Well that's a wrap for club. Considering I joined a completely new team for my final year of club, I couldn't have asked for a better mix of fun and talented kids to be around. This sport, the coaches that lead me, and the teammates I surrounded myself with have played a crucial role in molding me into the person I am today, and I cannot thank them enough.

Brandywine Heights reached the District 3-2A Championship for the first time. The (20-2) Bullets came up short against a very talented York Suburban team 3-0
(27-25, 25-21, 25-15)

The (20-1) Trojans are ranked second in the state in Class 2A. Highlights of the match will be posted at @svsports

Brandywine Heights will begin the state tournament on Tuesday. Brooke Robertson, the BCIAA Coach of the Year, remained positive after Thursday’s match.
“They put in so much work. We made school history. They’re just friends that decided to play volleyball. It’s such a great environment and they are truly a family,” she said.

It’s taken me over a week to even be able to sum up this past season with this amazing group of young men ❤️ We went into this season as coaches and players ready to see where this new journey would take us, ready to battle for each other, ready to fight for the next level and the next chapter. To say we accomplished all of that is an understatement. They showed up and showed off what they each stood for individually and how it looked when they came together. They battled every step of the way, but most importantly they battled together never doubting what they were capable of. We push them and they responded never settling that they were good enough. I can speak for all of us when I say we are better and beyond blessed because of this team, this group of young athletes! Our last tournament at St James Grandprix we battled and came out 3rd, finishing in quarterfinals of Gold… but more importantly they walked away knowing they gave it their all for each other! I can’t wait to see them compete in high school and then come back together again for Nationals!! Thank you to each player, each parent and Coach @dougbarriner and Coach @63sunnybeach and especially to the Lord … it’s been quite the ride!! ❤️🙌🏻🙏🏻 #velocity181 #lovingthejourney #thankyoulord #lovecoachingboysvolleyball

So much catching up prior to our last tournament at St James in VA. The past two weeks these young men have showed up for each other and competed well! Nike Freeze in Pittsburgh losing in semifinals of silver and BANE taking third in Gold. Proud is an understatement!!! Pittsburgh was extra special as I was able to catch up with Josh and Chris and watch Juniata play!! Plus spending time with Helene, Doug, Brittany and Rich is just icing on the cake!!! I do have so much to be thankful for!!! Thank you Lord!!! 🙌🏻❤️🏐 #velocity181 #lovecoachingboysvolleyball #loveofthegame #loveoffriends #ivegotchu

Battle of the Belt!! And battle they did!!! What an incredible weekend with a bunch of young men that just don’t quit!! Won semifinals in Gold against Steel City 18’s in a three set all out war!! And went on to battle (but lost) against Cap City in Gold finals. 2nd out of 18 teams, not a bad showing!! I am so proud of each of them individually but also as a full team. It’s not about the wins, it’s about the growth, the fight, the all in for each other and above all having fun!! Keep it rolling!!! I can’t do any of it without Doug and Rich… they truly are a huge part of this amazing journey!!! Thank you!!! ❤️🏐🙌🏻🙏🏻 #godimcountingmyblessings #velocity181 #lovecoachingboysvolleyball #theyarefun #stillmoretocome
