POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There’s a moment behind the camera when you stop directing… And just become completely lost in what’s happening in front of you. 🎬🖤

This was one of those moments.

Korey and I, standing behind the camera, completely sucked into the performances unfolding in front of us. In a trance. In complete awe. Almost forgetting everything else around us because what we were witnessing was THAT powerful.

As a director, you imagine these moments. You write them, you plan them, you hope you can bring them to life. But when your cast takes those words and turns them into something you can feel in your soul? There’s nothing like it.

And this is exactly why I make films.

Beneath The Silence is so much more than a story to me. Watching these performances come to life has been a reminder of just how powerful storytelling can be. The way a single moment can stop you in your tracks, take your breath away, and make you feel something you can’t even explain.

I’m so incredibly proud of what we’re creating. And I cannot wait for you all to experience it. 🖤

BEHIND THE SCENES — PART 1 | BENEATH THE SILENCE 🖤

A little peek behind the camera at the making of Beneath The Silence.

What you see on screen is only part of the story. The real magic happened between takes.. The laughter, the nerves, the chaos, the quiet moments, and the incredible people who poured their hearts into bringing this film to life.

Watching these moments back already has me feeling ALL the wrap blues. 🥹

This cast. This crew. This story. I’m so incredibly proud of what we created together.

And this is only Part 1. 👀🎬

There’s so much more beneath the silence…

WE HAVE OFFICIALLY WRAPPED BENEATH THE SILENCE. 🎬🖤

And honestly… I don’t even know how to put this feeling into words.

To my cast — I could not have dreamed of a better group of people. You took these characters, gave them your hearts, your vulnerability, and everything you had. Watching you bring this story to life left me speechless more times than I can count. I am beyond proud of every single one of you.

And to my crew. My team. My people. Bringing the band back together to make my film is something I will never take lightly. You showed up, worked through the chaos, made the impossible days possible, and gave this film everything you had.

Somehow, through all of it, we laughed. We created. We made memories. And we made a film.

There’s something incredibly special about creating with people who already feel like family.

And now… I already have the wrap blues. I miss the chaos. The laughter between takes. Hearing “set.” Looking around and seeing my people doing what they do. Watching this little world we created come alive.

I miss all of you.

I wish I could freeze time for just one more day. One more scene. One more take. One more ridiculous moment with this exact group of people.

But we did it. We actually did it.

And when I look back on Beneath the Silence, I won’t just remember the film. I’ll remember who I made it with.

My cast. My crew. My team. My people. 🖤

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for believing in this story.

BENEATH THE SILENCE. OFFICIALLY WRAPPED. 🎬🖤

And yes… I already miss you all. The wrap blues are VERY real.

Behind the scenes coming soon. 🖤🎬

Day one is wrapped… And honestly, I don’t even know how to put into words what I’m feeling right now.

I’m sitting here thinking about everything that happened today, and my heart is just… full.

My cast. These kids. The mom. Watching them step into these characters and give me something I could have never imagined when I first wrote these pages… It absolutely broke me in the best possible way.

There were moments today where I had to remind myself that I was supposed to be directing because I was so caught up watching them. Watching these kids feel, react, connect, and completely disappear into their characters was something I’ll never forget.

They blew me away.

I knew I had something special when I cast them, but today they showed me just how special this really is.

I couldn’t have dreamed up a better group of people to tell this story with. Not just because they’re incredibly talented, but because of the heart they’re bringing to it.

And the mom… Watching her bring this character to life hit me in a place I wasn’t prepared for.

I’m exhausted. I’m emotional. I’m overwhelmed. And I’m unbelievably grateful.

Day one.

We actually did it.

And somehow, I already know this is going to be something I carry with me for a very, very long time. ❤️🎬

🎬 BENEATH THE SILENCE | PRODUCTION UPDATE 🎬
WE DID IT. WE OFFICIALLY DID IT. 😭🖤

We have officially secured enough funding to bring Beneath The Silence to life.

I am overly emotional, and I genuinely don’t think I could ever find the words to express how thankful I am to every single person who has supported this film, shared our campaign, donated, pledged, or simply believed in me and this story.

This is so much more than my directorial debut. This is about starting important conversations. It’s about the parents who are silently struggling, the battles we don’t see, and the people who need to know they are not alone.
There were moments when I questioned whether I could make this happen. Moments when I felt defeated. But you all continued to show up, and because of YOU, this story is going to be told.

To my cast, crew, supporters, and every single person who has been part of this journey…

WE ARE MAKING A FILM. MY FILM. AND IT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING. 🥹🎥

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in something that means so much to me.

Now, let’s get ready to bring Beneath The Silence to the screen. 🖤

The mental health gods won and I gave myself bangs because apparently that’s how I’m coping with the stress of this campaign nonsense. 😂✂️

BUT!!! WE’RE ALREADY AT $2,000 OF OUR $6,000 GOAL!! 😭🎬

And somehow we are officially 23 DAYS AWAY FROM FILMING Beneath The Silence.

So yes, I may be stress-cutting my hair, but this film IS HAPPENING. 😂

We’re $4,000 away from fully funding this story, and every donation, pledge, and share is getting us closer to set.

23 days. $4K to go.
And hopefully no more impulsive hair decisions between now and then. 😂🖤

Let’s get Beneath The Silence funded.
