OPENING TOMORROW Brian Kokoska: A Man Made of Dust ✨

Reception will be held between 3-6 PM. Join us and the artist to celebrate this stunning show.

For more than a decade, Kokoska has developed a singular visual language, constructing strange and psychologically charged worlds where the familiar is made uncanny. His work has long been preoccupied with the face and the figure—mask-like characters, ambiguous bodies, symbols, and decorative motifs that hover between portraiture and invention. In his paintings, identity is never entirely fixed. Figures appear simultaneously vulnerable and impenetrable, familiar and fantastical, caught somewhere between the personal and the mythological.

A bit of fear-mongering, but according to research at Cornell, some ticks can survive under water for more than 2 months! Luckily, you can wear your ZAPWARE in the water and it’ll dry in ten minutes on a sunny day. Don’t forget to tick check any time you are outside and to do your tick checks daily, preferably in the shower in case one is on you and falls onto the ground. Better for it to go down the drain than a hard-to-find location on your floor or carpet! All photos by @ottoohle ! P.S. have you heard @scotia_trax ‘s new EP?? BUY ONE NOW!!! #ticks #tickseason #bugbite #catskillsmountains #catskillsny

Hello everyone! That’s right there’s going to be even more Interior Motives on @Patreon! The rooms will be crazier, the guests more honest, and the game even more intense.

And that’s not it, YOU can take your shot at playing the game against each other LIVE, hosted by me, on our discord. Subscribe to the Patreon for this and MORE! Link in bio

An unforgettable moment: songstress Ahya Simone captivated us with her candlelit performance in our Gathering Hall during @ragganyc takeover of Pocketbook. The night was filled with beautiful installations, readings, performances, and sets in Ether. We're grateful to everyone who came to listen, party, and play.

It’s been two years since I moved my studio from New Haven, CT to Catskill, NY. A lot has changed in my life during that time, it has been a period of great transformation and I am thankful for each lesson I’ve learned. Living in the Hudson Valley has been one such transformative experience, different from my upbringing in the city.

This region has reintroduced me to solitude, allowed me to reconnect with nature and learn more about my authentic self. I now know that simplicity is the greatest complication—a finding as unique as a desert diamond. @adiamondisforever #naturaldiamonds #desertdiamonds
