EVENT RECAP: We’re giving thanks to all of those who helped make the free HIV testing event possible! As well as wanting to say “Thank you!” to all of those who came by and got tested and/or chatted about other sexual health resources! 🤝🫶

We were able to test and make meaningful connections with approximately 50 OU students! 🤩🥳

This is not the last opportunity to get free resources and services from the OAE, so make sure you follow us to stay connected for more events! 👀🔔

This year, our department was honored to attend the Oklahoma Public Health Association (OPHA) Conference, a statewide gathering of public health professionals, students, and educators dedicated to advancing health across Oklahoma. 💛

We’re thrilled to share that two members of our department were recognized with awards at this year’s conference:

🏆 Dr. Anne Pate — awarded Outstanding Educator for her excellence in teaching and commitment to preparing the next generation of public health leaders.
🎓 Kaella Glenn — recipient of the Fall 2025 Pam Rask Scholarship for her dedication to improving the health of our communities through the pursuit of her degree in Community Health.

Congratulations to both for this well-deserved recognition and thank you to the students that joined us for this conference! 🎉
