Heavy overreach block caught up and 500 flat out buried me! Resetting, resting, and letting the taper do its job before November 7th.

Although we didn’t have the day we wanted, it’s okay. I had a phenomenal experience, first of many experiences with @ou_powerlifting .Huge thanks to @90keykaden for handling me and @_.dillonjohnson for being a goated coach (sorry for going off script for the last deads😅 had to try and get second). Shoutout to @jackhulsey06 for making me work and beating me I’ll be back and we will run it again.

Meet Recap at CCUP Arkansas (7/9 on lifts)
🥉 in the 110kg class (forgot to get my medal)

This was my worst meet of all time, simple as that. I had the worst prep of my life, getting injured and sick throughout the later end of it, as well as being overwhelmed with outside events, overall it’s been tough. I just need to dial it in for next time, and to chase again for a spot at CNATS for next time.

Shoutout to @ou_powerlifting and all the other guys and girls for killing it out there, and shout out to my coach @pdtrains for dealing with my miscommunication on things, especially during the later stretch (we will pick it up on better terms for next time).

- Squat (2/3): Missed my final squat due (496lbs) to the bar rolling and losing my brace on the way up, we will pick it up next time and dial that in through prep.

- Bench (2/3): Not much to say here, strength issue for sure and that just comes to being consistent in the gym again which I plan to do for next comp.

- Deadlift (3/3): 2.5kg PR on my competition deadlift, and it moved swimmingly, very happy with how it moved and I plan to build on it for next time.

We will pick things up for next time, and I plan on making some big adjustments to never let something like this happen again.
