First singles podium at a College Disc Golf Regional!🥉

After competing at this event three times now, it feels good to finally put together the kind of performance I’ve been looking for at the collegiate level.

We’re just one stroke back of the lead heading into tomorrow’s final round, and we’ve got our sights set high. Still plenty of work to do.

Roll bobbies.

Throwdown at the Tower – T-3rd MA1
Overall, a very disappointing performance for me. My forehand felt solid all tournament, but my backhand was really lacking. I threw too many poor shots and didn’t give myself enough birdie opportunities, which ultimately kept me from the win.

On a much deeper note, it would be wrong not to mention a huge loss to the disc golf community and to everyone who knew him. After a tragic accident, @flow._.mika lost his life.

While I didn’t know Micha very well, I was fortunate enough to get to know him over the past month. He was a genuinely kind person with a glowing personality and great sense of humor and was always a joy to be around. I’m grateful I had the chance to meet him and watch him play. It’s heartbreaking that we lost such a talented young player, but an even better person.
Rest in peace Micha
