Pacific Crest 2026
-
As of today (8/17/2026), I am officially aged out of Drum Corps. My final season of dci with Pacific Crest was nothing short of everything I could’ve ever asked for. I am so grateful for the people I met, the memories I made, the skills I developed, and the history we made this season. Highest scoring PC of all time, highest scoring PC percussion of all time, longest tour I’ve ever done in 6 seasons of drum corps, and the most fun I’ve ever had marching a season.

To the battery: thank you for being 18 fucking dawgs every chance we got. My favorite part of every show was turning at the end and seeing everyone’s faces after each run, knowing we had just done something as a collective that we could be proud of. I couldn’t be more proud of the history we made and I can’t imagine spending my summer with anyone else. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for an incredible season.

To the snares: thank you for constantly pushing to be better every day. Thank you for accepting the oldest member in the corps and helping push me to be better every day. This snareline is always going to hold a special place in my heart as the hardest working group of 8 that I’ve ever marched with. Papa loves you 🫶

To the staff: thank you for pushing us to never let our standards drop. Thank you for taking a chance on a mug from Washington, and for putting up with my bullshit in slack. I’m truly so thankful for everyone on this staff and the way you all interacted with the members. I felt the perfect balance of personal connection and professional boundary, and it made me feel welcomed and at home every day of this summer. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to spend a whole summer learning from you all and getting to know each of you.

Pacific Crest 26..

I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I signed up for year two with this organization. I had no clue that this was going to be one of the most important and meaningful summers of my career.

Each day, I got a chance to raise the bar for myself, which wasn’t always easy, but getting a chance to push past what I thought was my limit made me realize what I was capable of. I’m thankful for the adversity now, knowing that I’m better because of it.

But one of the most memorable things this summer was getting to push everyday with the best group of people who I get to call my friends. The battery showed me how to not only push myself, but to have fun doing so, which was one of the best things ever. Not only did we hype our wins, but we hyped our struggles, which made every day special.

Thank you so much not only to my friends, but to the staff for being super committed every day, block, and rep. And thank you all for creating such a great place for us to learn not only to be a great battery, but to be great people.

Thank you Pacific Crest 🩵

pacific crest 2026

tomorrow has passed, and the days have started without us..

yet i still cant seem to formulate the correct amount of words & sentences to describe how this season has made me feel.

however, i’ve come to realize that my inability to do so speaks volumes as to what this season has done for me,

as a person, performer, leader, and friend..

and for that i am eternally grateful for all 170 dawgs that i spent the past two months of my life with.

i’d like to thank all of you.

to those who i was close with, became friends with, or those who i had brief convos, side banter, random bits, and every other little thing that comes with a season of drum corp with.
thank you.

to the staff & admin, who put their trust on me to play my role to the best of my abilities and make the corp a better place.
thank you.

to perc bus
you were all a family to me, and it was a pleasure “yo yo yo-ing” to you guys all summer. we went through it all together and for that im grateful

to the battery, all 18 of us dawgs who lived in attack mode and made lifelong friendships/memories together.
thank you.

and last but not least, the tidequads
to the four of us that ran the entire summer through the power of friendship, feng shi, and fomo. while also trusting me in leading them
thank you.

this season was not easy by all means, but with a group so willing to crank, have fun, and chase history. we made it pretty damn far. and to that i say thank you once again.

as someone who went into this summer nervous, scared, and felt like they didn’t belong where they were at. i express my gratitude for everyone who believed and trusted in me, and helped completely erase those pre-tour feelings.

this summer changed me in ways i can’t fully express, and the experiences, challenges, and friendships i made will help shape me for the rest of my time in this activity.

it always hurts saying goodbye (and damn we all felt it after the banquet) but it is time to finally etch this season as a memory.

life is always best at the crest. 🌊

until next time pc
