Finding creativity in the chaos, all things breath-work, intuition and the power of our physiology.

It was a real pleasure to chat with Martin McPhilimey @performancethroughhealth for episode #6 of OGE.  He is a respiratory and sleep scientist, who’s now moved on to high performance coaching and consultancy under @performancethroughhealth and he’s also an online educater for all things breathwork, sleep, stress, resilience + much more @schoolofbreathscience   Martin offers a 6 months course diving deep into the breath and all the before mentioned things, which I was fortunate enough to discover and attend myself early last year and as you’ll hear in the podcast, was quietly life changing for me and has informed a lot of how I currently teach at my sessions, retreats and so on.

I also apply the knowledge to my life daily.   I dare say, he is currently leading the field in these areas, especially with breath-work.  We get into martins story of how he’s come to be who he is and he shares quite openly and you get a strong sense of his humanity.  We talk a lot about our physiology, the body, the mind, our psychology and then into more spiritual and intuitive areas of our lives. Martin does a really great job at explaining the deep interconnectedness of all of these things.  It’s definitely a gift of his and I love when science meets the spiritual world.

For anyone interested in learning about the breath, becoming resilient and just generally getting more efficient in life, this is the podcast for you.

Someone once told me that “if you aren’t embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late” that’s a quote by @reidhoffman co-founder of LinkedIn.

So here’s to being embarrassed by both my first news letter and podcast—here’s to taking action over my perfectionist tendencies, amongst the chaos of life and never ending things that seem to be getting in the way.
