A great piece of Stop Motion work by one of our young learners. This young learner has their sights set on a place @dv8sussex in Brighton to study 'Creative Digital Media' after he finishes at OPLC. We are very proud of the achievements of our current and former students who have proved 'Self Managed Learning' really does work and is a great alternative to mainstream education. Cohort 2 coming soon! #personalised #learning #autonomy #collaboration #empowerment

We’re back and ready for a new term at OurPlace. Looking back on last term, we’re feeling incredibly grateful. Our first autumn term was full of shared experiences – local adventures and trips further afield, inspiring visits, and welcoming new young people through trial weeks as our community began to grow. Thank you to everyone who has been part of those early steps with us. We’re excited to see where this next chapter takes us. More exciting news to follow shortly. Note: the last video on the post is at the Concorde 2 Fatboy Slim gig - staff ONLY Xmas party Here’s to an exciting 2026 ✨ #personalised #learning #autonomy #collaboration #empowerment

Fatboy Slim @ OurPlace Learning Community. Smiley faces all round 😃 Wonderful to have Norman Cook pay us a visit at OurPlace @brightonyouthcentre Norman took time out to chat with the kids & learning advisers, tour the newly revamped and rather splendid Brighton Youth Centre, sign autographs, books (mainly for mums & dads) and listen to some of our very talented musicians. We presented Norman with a gift at the end of his visit courtesy of the talented artist @ross_tasty - a seagull showcasing the new colour of the @officialbhafc training kits. Looking forward to having @officialfatboyslim visit again when the kitchen is finished for a cooking session! Rave on, keep smiling & praise you 😃 OurPlace - Personalised Learning, Autonomy, Collaboration and Empowerment
