is it time, again, for romance? for tenderness? yes, let it come back, the cold. i used to want so many things, now i just want this: to love what is brief because it is brief. and you? what will you do? with what’s left of the summer light.

Favourite bedroom things: (—> swipe to the end for the before 😱) summer duvet change: never thought about having a lower tog duvet but I think that’s been the most transformative update. can be super cosy and not be boiling us in a duvet oven art instead of tv: I love TV but I’m on a screen everyday & if I’m desperate to watch something in bed I can use my iPad. I often just lay and stare at this. It’s my favourite from a gorgeous artist in Deia - from my SIL. still amazed it’s ours 💓 wisteria growing up the house: is it good for the brickwork and quite invasive yes, is it romantic and whimsical, also yes 😬 bedding that isn’t white: these clay coloured sheets from @naturalmatuk are my new favourites. the room is setting plaster by @farrowandball which is quite girly and light but but this helps ground the whole room and look a little more grown up and transitional into autumn *gifted. Art art & more art (pictures): Above bed: @fanny.chaudet - next to light - @ours.interiors - above fire place - Leila Ward

There is so much beautiful vintage online. The challenge isn’t finding vintage. It’s finding the really good vintage. These are a few of the specific search terms I use when I’m looking online. But search terms are only half the story. Over the last few years, I’ve built a list of 50 vintage & antique dealers whose online shops I love browsing. For those new here, we’re Hue, a gallery specialising in original vintage oil paintings sourced across Europe. We release new collections every week and ship worldwide. Comment DIRECTORY and I’ll send you the guide (it’s free). Save this for the next time you’re vintage hunting. Vintage Art | UK Vintage | UK Antiques | English Antiques | European Vintage | Curated Vintage | Vintage Homeware | Vintage Furniture | Vintage Objects Collage introducing vintage search ideas with the text “Stop searching vintage. Search these instead.” Featuring a Murano beaded chandelier, cast aluminium vase, silver spiral cutlery, shell pedestal stand, red marble, Art Deco chair, chrome ice bucket and glasses, and other curated vintage furniture and decorative objects.
