Buenos días, a los que madrugan and happy first day of fall🍂🍁This city’s been great to me, I’m staying in a beautifully curated space with a lot of intentionality. It’s a difficult time to exist but living is amazing and I’m grateful. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be reminded of my purpose and dreams. And it’s been pretty dope to be practicing difficult change. Gratitude and faith is a great balancing act. Pittsburgh has been whooping me into softness again. ❤️

Massive appreciation post to the amazing people over at @two29gallery and @gallery_afk. This summer’s Punk Bands & Spray Cans events brought an energy back to the city that I haven’t felt since the late 90s when art and friendships mattered, and you’d shake with anticipation to get your eyes on the latest and greatest murals somebody rocked over the weekend. From the conversations and laughs, music, hot dogs and nachos, this event was fresh!! They dug up some legends and some amazing new artists every single month. Parents rockin’ with their kids. Photos. Vendors. Food for the soul type stuff. Sorry if I missed anyone in the posts, I didn’t get final photos of everything. 10/3/26 is the grand finale — come and rock if you’re available. Thanks again everyone! ⚡️🤘⚡️✌️⚡️

The place called the United States turned 250 this year…but the landmass it sits on is part of a much larger and more complex story. For the theme of our 2026 residency, we invited local artists to expand on this idea and be in artistic conversation with our residents—and this Friday we’re inviting you too.

‼️ Our 2026 residency is coming up ‼️

📆 September 17-28 @tomasives @ishrock and @gloeone will be landing in Pittsburgh to share their muraling practices with the city.

🌎 This year’s residency coincides with our 10th anniversary and the United States of America’s 250th anniversary. We’re inviting the residents and participants in community projects to consider how South America, Latin America, and the Caribbean are part of a larger “America” that often gets erased in shorthand.

🎨 Come meet the artists at events @assemblepgh @thewarholmuseum @downtownpitt and an art show at Slanted and Enchanted on Friday September 18

We hope to see you there and can’t wait for the artists to join us.

When I got the new bike I started finding my way back to murals I’ve captured over the years with other motorcycles! This past weekend I returned to this one! It’s tucked away in the Swissvale area, but worth the trip over to see it for yourself! I’m hoping to get some of these amazing artists to talk to some of my art students this school year ❤️

My hubby, daughter, and I took a little stroll through downtown New Kensington for this week’s theme.

So much to see…great murals, yummy smells (@commonovenpizza ), and people out walking around and enjoying the day.

It’s really nice seeing people out supporting our local small businesses and restaurants. It was hard to even find parking! We love seeing downtown New Kensington busy and bringing people together!
