“You see it more in depth when it’s in front of you instead of on a Smartboard.” 🏔️

Outdoor Lab gives Jeffco sixth graders a week of learning, friendship and growth in the mountains, with high school leaders as their guides. Students come back with a clearer picture of who they can be.

Watch the full video and read the full story at the link in our bio.

Did you know that we do corporate gifts and custom work? I love working with local businesses to help them show appreciation! Cups by @hoggoutfitters for @outdoorlabfoundation. I remember when I went up to @mt_blue_sky_outdoor_lab back when it was something else (we don’t talk about that guy here!) and my daughter had the privilege to intern for the team there this summer too! #shoplocal #laserengraving #coffee #smallbusinesssupportingsmallbusiness #lovemyjob

Happy Fall Ya’ll! 😊🍁🍦🏕️

We’ve partnered up with @outdoorlabfoundation to put the campfire in a cone! That means toast marshmallow fluff, a fresh baked waffle cone, chocolate ice cream and harvest sprinkles! $1 from every Campfire Cone goes to the Outdoor Lab Foundation.

Outdoor Lab is a Jefferson County rite of passage. For over 60 years, the program has provided week-long residential camp experiences in the mountains for approximately 5,000 Jeffco sixth-graders each year. Learn more at outdoor foundation.org

The wildlife took over Mt. Blue Sky Outdoor Lab this weekend to work on their leadership skills. The turkeys nailed the group huddle, but the elk completely ignored the safety instructions and made up their own rules. @outdoorlabfoundation

We are overflowing with awe, pride, and infinite gratitude for our 2025–2026 eeCorps cohort!

Host sites provide the space, but YOU—our brilliant, resilient, passionate members—are the absolute heart, soul, and engine of this program. You were the ones on the ground every single day turning lesson plans into unforgettable moments of discovery.

You are the ones who:

🥾 Braved freezing mountain mornings, muddy gardens, and chaotic afternoons with endless energy and big smiles.

🐸 Sparked pure wonder in students catching their very first creek critter or planting their first seed.

🎒 Welcomed every child with open arms, making outdoor spaces feel safer, more inclusive, and deeply welcoming for all.

💡 Poured your creativity, late-night prep, and whole hearts into every single presentation, trail guide, and science kit.

Thousands of kids across Colorado know the joy of nature today because you showed up for them. You didn't just fulfill a term of service—you ignited lifelong curiosity, built real community, and brought environmental literacy to life in every corner of our state.

To our 2025–2026 cohort: Thank you for your fierce dedication, your laughter, your adaptability, and your unwavering passion. We are forever inspired by you, and we cannot wait to watch you continue to change the world! 🏔️💚

✨ Huge gratitude shoutout to our 2025–2026 eeCorps Host Sites! 🙌

As this service term wraps up, we are in awe of the incredible organizations across Colorado that hosted, mentored, and supported the AmeriCorps members serving with the eeCorps this past year.

Because of your dedication:
🌱 Thousands of PreK-12 students engaged in hands-on science & stewardship
🏔️ Emerging environmental educators gained invaluable, career-defining experience
💚 Our statewide EE community grew stronger, more equitable, and more connected

To every supervisor, team member, and partner organization who made space for an eeCorps member this term—THANK YOU! You are cultivating the leaders who will care for our planet’s future. 🧑‍🌾🎒🥾
