Some races are measured by the checkered flag.

This one was measured by perseverance.

The NORES SXS 24 Hour Race wasn’t just about who was the fastest. It was about who could keep going when they were exhausted, when the terrain beat up both driver and machine, when repairs had to be made in the middle of the night, and when quitting would’ve been the easy choice.

Every lap told a different story. Every pit stop was another opportunity to fight back. Every team that crossed the finish line earned every inch of it.
That’s what makes endurance racing so special. It’s not just about speed it’s about heart, grit, determination, and the refusal to give up.

To every driver, navigator, pit crew, volunteer, and fan who made this weekend unforgettable… thank you.
If we had to describe the NORES SXS 24 Hour Race in one word, it would be: Perseverance.

Now it’s your turn… What word describes your weekend at Darkwater?

🏁 TRAIL TUESDAY: A HISTORIC WEEKEND AT DARKWATER! 🏁
What an unforgettable weekend as Darkwater hosted the first-ever SXS 24 Hour! This incredible event was a true test of strength, persistence, teamwork, and grit.
A huge shoutout to Brian and the entire NORES team for putting together such an outstanding event. We would also like to thank Vito’s Coal Fired Pizza for hosting the Pre-Event Party, The Throwbacks for keeping the crowd entertained with great music, and Cake Pros and Appetite Satisfaction for keeping the drivers, crews, and families well fed throughout the weekend.
Congratulations to Glen Jung and the 77 Motorsports team for making history, along with every fearless driver and team who stepped up to take on this incredible 24-hour challenge!
Thank you to everyone who helped make the first SXS 24 Hour at Darkwater a weekend we will never forget!

We’re at the half-way mark!

Only 12 hours to go.

It’s a survival game at this point. The racers are keeping a steady pace and running strong.

The rain has started up once again. Let’s see who can push through the night shift and get to the checkers.

Day 1 - Triple Crown Weekend update 🤠🏁 @outlawseries

Rooster showed up ready to work and went straight into battle with some fast Texas & Central kids. This weekend Outlaw brought together the West, Central, and Texas Outlaw racers, and the competition was stacked from the start. 🔥

570 class:
Moto 1 — P3
Moto 2 — P1
Overall — P2 🏆

Mini Limited:
Moto 1 — P1
Moto 2 — P1
Overall — P1 🔥

He stayed focused, drove smart, and kept digging every time he hit the track. Proud is an understatement.

And then… the moms got their turn. 😂

The 170 Mom’s Race was an absolute blast. I grabbed the holeshot, got caught up on lap one, got back on all four, and still finished P3. Getting in a car and putting myself in Zeppelin’s shoes gave me a whole new perspective on what these kids do out there.

Huge thank you to @andrew.crumley for building me the #2 HPR chassis from the ground up in less than a week so I didn’t have to risk totaling Rooster’s car. 😅

And thank you to Brian and the entire OUTLAW crew for putting on events that are fun for the whole family every single weekend we race with them. We vote to make the Mom’s Race in Texas annual. 👏

Day 2 recap coming soon. 👀
