Competition days create so many little milestones. ✨

The entry.
The performance.
The placing.
The result.
The growth.

And then… where does all of that go?

DancePassport gives every dancer a place to build their story — competition results, awards, exam achievements and performance history, all in one evolving portfolio.

Because a dancer is so much more than their latest result. 🖤

One dancer. One portfolio. One DancePassport.

A piece that goes far beyond showcasing millions of legs, turns, tricks or being PERFECT. A piece that symbolises a different stage of life. And a piece with movement that is meaningful to me.

Stepping away from competition world was truly the best decision I ever made. You get caught in thinking that, that is what values you. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I’m not grateful for everything that world gave me, I am however going to say that I did not miss it.

Experiencing training abroad and dancing professionally at a company, you gain so much more perspective of what’s important and what is worth valuing.

And yes, every environment whether driven by passion or profession, it can become unhealthy or toxic. What matters is recognising it and having the courage to make a change best for you.

Anyone who has the opportunity to step away and “come back” into that world, you will understand what I mean. It’s truly eye opening as you start to see it in a different light.

So here’s me, performing “Departure”, not for a score, not to be perfect and not to prove anything. Simply just to enjoy myself.

Just simply sharing it with my dance community who love and support me, perfectly imperfect 🤍
