We visited @outpostkitchen right next to South Coast Plaza, and everything was SO good! Their menu is organic, non-GMO, grass-fed, and seed-oil-free!

We tried the Raging Bull Skillet, chicken katsu bowl, grass-fed burger, blueberry honey matcha, and more! The real stars were the berry smoothie and FLUFFY blueberry pancakes - which were gluten free!! 🫐

It’s perfect for a girls’ brunch, weekend date, or post-workout meal!

Let’s do the math… Shirley’s Bagels is opening a new location in the Westside and The Pocket @ Monrovia & W.18th just announced they are closing and being replaced by a local favorite… Problem solved.
That said, The Pocket was a great Costa Mesa breakfast and lunch treasure and thankfully their sister restaurant Outpost Kitchen still thrives at South Coast Plaza. Shirley’s Bagels is clearly embarking on an expansion.. Today the Westside… Next stop HB? Too early to tell. @shirleysbagels @thepocketoc

I’ve been to this brunch spot multiple times, partly because it’s conveniently located right next to my office, but I keep coming back because the food is actually healthy and yummy. The food here is 100% seed-oil free, organic, and non-GMO, so you genuinely leave feeling lighter than you would after your typical brunch. They just launched some new menu items, so if you haven’t been yet, take this as your sign to go!!
