Out at the Rodeo’s Wild Wild Wet Pool Party transformed @montrosecountryclub into a lively celebration of summer, bringing together LGBTQ community members and allies for an afternoon of music, poolside fun, and connection. Guests floated in the pool, relaxed under umbrellas, and danced to country and disco-inspired sets by DJ Stephen Jusko.

Cowboy hats, swimsuits, and colorful floaties added to the festive atmosphere, while the event blended casual summer vibes with community spirit. A portion of ticket sales supported Out at the Rodeo’s year-round programming, making the gathering both a fundraiser and a celebration of queer friendship, visibility, and summer fun.

Wrapping up 31 ✨
This year, I finally saw the results of all the hard work I sowed in my 20’s (and especially during my Saturn return tbh). This could probably be considered the most successful year of my life thus far, and I’m so excited to carry this energy into my future 🤩
I couldn’t do it without the support of the amazing group of people I get to call my friends 🥰

🦔🪽✨ Designing a commemorative bandana for Out At The Rodeo meant creating a symbol of queer visibility.
.
🌈 I’ll always go over the moon for a good mood board or case study and this one was especially meaningful. I approached the design as both a commemorative object and a storytelling piece, combining Texas iconography with celestial imagery to reflect pride, protection, and community
..
🤠 Huge thanks to @outattherodeo for trusting me to collaborate on this vision. Queer visibility is something I will always fight for. Great design isn’t about flashy graphics or trendy fonts, it’s about the message it communicates and the community it supports.
.
✍️🏾 When Eric first approached me about the project, I said yes immediately, even though I was dealing with creative burnout. Working through this concept became a reset and a reminder to keep saying yes to projects that align with my values and mission.
