There’s been some noise coming from the mausoleum.

Fuzz. Reverb. Danceable dirges. Sixteen terrifying tunes from some rather posthumous popstars.

But this particular monster wasn’t made alone.

THEE GASSED CASKETS built NIGHT AT THE MAUSOLEUM with the help of some wonderfully strange, fiercely local Twin Cities humans. Vinyl pressed by Outta Wax. Mastering by Ecstatic Studio. Printing by Smart Set. An exclusive shirt from Afternoon Printing. Props, parts and general weirdness courtesy of Ax-Man.

And those choices were intentional.

This project has stayed local wherever possible, choosing people and businesses that make things with their hands, show up for their neighborhoods and have been outspoken in standing with immigrant communities and against ICE.

Yeah. We thought we might get along.

And as for CrowBar?

Let’s just say we’ve been spending a little time in the basement.

October 9, something is crawling out of the mausoleum and into CrowBar.

Thank you all so much for making Lake Street Live a success!

As the rain is coming down, it’s hard to believe we all sweated it out last Saturday listening to great bands, eating great food, visiting great vendors, and drinking great beer. Most importantly, raising money for the Lake Street Council, helping ensure that Lake Street and its community continue to have vibrant events!

The feedback has been so positive, organizer Kara Wilder (@cowgirlthoughts), and we here at Arbeiter Brewing are having a hard time not looking ahead to next year but we’re going to soak-in 2026 a little longer.

If you didn’t have the opportunity to attend or contribute to the fundraiser for Lake Street Council, we’ll leave the donation link active for a few days.
