On my birthday, I often think about the meaning of life. My thoughts surround topics like my family my legacy how long I have left what I’ve accomplished and what I want to accomplish.

Often times on the life side I think of my wife, whose birthday is the 18th my brother whose birthday is the eighth my good friend Wil who has a birthday today my childhood friend who had a birthday yesterday my mother whose birthday is the 23rd.

On the death side I usually think of 911 but today Charlie Kirk came up and the anniversary of the most precious gift of life and one of the least looked forward to experience of death.

My friend Wil and I will always feel connected because of our friendship that for me feels stamped with the honor of being born on the same day. Now I feel some connected to Charlie Kirk by this horrible way of his murder.

In all this reflection today I thought, no matter how we go, when this life is over we will stand before the King of Kings and as a Christian be judged for one thing. Our Calling…

We will either receive a reward or suffer loss. I don’t know about you but I want the full reward of reigning with Christ. However, some will suffer loss and have everything burned up to only make it by fire and some will earn partial rewards.

No matter what you receive it will be for eternity. So if you don’t know your calling or you’re not 100% sure what yours is or what a calling is… dm me.

Just so you know…if you think your calling is what you do, definitely reach out. That is an error that will have many only make it by fire left either way no eternal reward. Ok, thanks for your time and reading this.
