starting a new little series — weekly BLOOM 🌷

Bites I loved
Listening to
Outfit I wore
Other little joys
Movement that felt good

a little collection of things i loved, enjoyed & noticed throughout the week.

im finding how easy it is to get caught up in what we want more of, what we’re waiting for, or what we wish looked different. i want to be better about noticing the beauty already tucked into my everyday — an especially good meal, a song i keep playing, an outfit i loved, the way sunshine feels on my skin, little moments that made the week sweeter. I truly believe it affects how we move through our days + I’ve always been encouraged by this little practice of slowing down + savoring what’s right in front of me.

excited to share each week + hope it encourages the person on the other side of the screen as well. there’s so much goodness flowing through our days and life, I think it’s just about finding the balance of framing our intention to really see it 🤍

the perfect Sunday morning breakfast 🧈

loved everything about this and @siececampbell thoughts, encouragement & insights on a healthier relationship with social media. this was an incredible conversation, I’d highly reccomend whether you work in social media or not ✨

slowly adding more intentional higher quality pieces to my closet and I’m loving all my pieces from @sezane but their denim have been a top favorite 👖

@primallypure new jelly to milk cleanser is more magic and I can’t get enough of it — love that it has raw honey + royal jelly, leaves the skin feeling SO nourished 🍯

something about a simple weighted back squat, it just leaves my body and mind feeling amazing… everytime 💪🏼

Been on quite the health journey for a few years now. There have been seasons where I felt in control of my health, and many more where I felt anything but. In the midst of feeling unable to feel and look the way I wanted, God has done and is continuing to rewire my definition of health and wellness. For me, it has been a journey of finding gratitude for the body God has given me - quirks and all. For realizing that movement is a gift and a privilege - one that not everyone has. For finally feeling the freedom to wake up and do what feels best - whether that’s stretching, walking, an intense workout, a rest day - and realizing my identity isn’t in what I do or don’t do but that getting to move is a gift to receive.

A few months back, maia and I had the honor of interviewing so many incredible women in the health and wellness space. One of those conversations was with a fellow Pepperdine alum (🥹🤍) @bblairb who shared her journey with movement and body image. It was powerful and inspiring - a conversation I would recommend to any girl struggling with something similar or just looking to hear more on the topic 🤍 posting link to episode on stories ** :)

TW: miscarriage🪽This week on the podcast we talk about one of the hardest things we’ve ever walked through. back during sept-nov we found out we were pregnant and absolutely were overjoyed & then that joy slowly faded to grief as we miscarried. I had never quite felt the depths of grief before that I experienced then but God was ever so near and held us through it all.

I knew as I walked through the process- one that took a lot longer than expected- that I would one day share in hope and prayer that it would touch someone else’s heart and help them in their journey. Today I got to share that journey on the podcast- I’m praying it encourages someone in knowing that they are not alone, to let God hold them while they’re grieving, & to remind them that God can use the most difficult parts of our stories for good.

So immensely thankful for every family member and friend that prayed with us, held us, celebrated with us, and mourned with us. TYJ for heaven. 💛
