🌱 DEMO OUT NOW ON STEAM! 🌳
A 2.5D Action RPG about plants and family set in an overgrown Natural History Museum!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Technically I graduated end of May, but I have been forgetting to make an obligatory graduation post!

I’ve graduated @scaddotedu magna cum laude with a BFA in Storytelling and Concept Development in Animation (and a minor in Sequential Arts)🐝🐝🐝

It’s surreal to me that four years just went on by. I don’t even know what to say. I want to thank the @dire_dryer team, @demoreeldemolition_film team, @overgrown.game team, all my professors and friends who helped me along the way, and @bleebthedweeb . It’s been a crazy ride full of ups and downs, and I would be an entirely different person today if it wasn’t for everyone involved.

I’m jumping onto projects (and posting more) immediately! Keep an eye out, I plan to make big art dumps on my Instagram like the good old days. And keep an eye out for Dire Dryer’s film festival run! We made a fantastic premiere at @savanimation.mov ‘s first showing, I heavily recommend everyone in the Savannah area to check them out 💖

⭐️ Presenting lightboard doodles of every project me and my roommates have ever had the pleasure to work on! :)

My time at SCAD has been truly an eventual one!! I still have 6 months to go but the weight that every experience I have had is coming back to me in waves. No matter how big or small of a part I had, each one taught me something new that has lead me to where I am now!

Thank you to everyone who has worked with me, believed in me, or I've had class with. Still have a ways to go, but we will all get there and it will be something we never forget! 🦊🫶

Thank you for helping me learn and grow throughout my 4 years of SCAD!!:

Props and rooms designed for @overgrown.game ! Working on this game with this team taught me so much, and the people I got to work with were so skilled and hardworking.
It was a really inspiring experience from both an artwork and determination standpoint of those around me that I’m really thankful for. Also super fun getting to figure out a style I hadn’t worked on before (thank you Josh and Maddie) !! GO PLAY OVERGROWN ON STEAM ‼️‼️

This past quarter I was given the amazing opportunity to work on the music for the cutscenes in the game Overgrown! It was an amazing learning experience and I am truly so thankful that I was able to work on it.

I’d like to thank our sound lead Jack for being such an awesome leader and teacher for me during this entire process. He pushed my composition in directions that I never would have taken it myself and I think it really paid off! Also a huge thank you to my friend Katherine for getting me on this project (and doing all kinds of amazing sound effects!)

All of the music in this reel was created by me. The animation and sound effects were done by the awesome Overgrown! team.

This past Spring quarter I had the honor to be the Environments/Props and Marketing Lead of the SCAD Animation Studios × SCAD IGTM project, @overgrown.game!

I've never worked on a Video Game before so it was a blast learning the process and working with such talented people!! Special thanks to @joshhua.png and @maddiesfridge for helping out along the way and being awesome at what you do! 🫵🦊

Also final note, play the Overgrown demo on Steam now!! We are going to be a part of Steam Next Fest the 9th - 16th so check it out! :)

I’ve been fortunate enough to help on so many wonderful projects this spring, so now that my sophomore year is over I wanted to pay homage to all of them! Thank you to everyone who took a chance on me and taught me so much more about the animation pipeline, and working collaboratively.

I hope all the SCAD graduates this year go on to have amazing and prosperous careers, and make some amazing pieces of art. You all deserve some time to relax!!!
