Baja is calling, and this TRD Pro 4Runner is answering. 🙌

We've been dialing it in for the @camp4lo Fiesta this weekend, and the setup is exactly what a trip like this demands. @totalchaosfabrication and @kingshocks are working together underneath, built to soak up miles of whoops, washboard, and everything else Baja throws at it.

The TRD Pro was already a great starting point. Now it is ready to really let loose.

We are pretty sure this one will show up in a few action shots. Stay tuned.

🌍 EXPEDITION REPORT | DAY 25

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you haven’t planned!

After another stormy night beside the lake, we packed up Bilbo and headed towards Marrakech.

A last-minute decision to take a detour to the Cascades d’Ouzoud turned out to be an absolute winner.

All that rain had transformed the waterfalls into a thundering torrent of muddy brown water. The noise, the spray and the sheer power of it were extraordinary!

We got a little muddy ourselves, but what an incredible sight.

Another reminder that sometimes it’s worth ignoring the itinerary and following your instincts.

When the vast plains of the Nullarbor meant the Great Australian Bite. I remember the first time I came this way after crossing the Southern Outback Desert West of Cober Pedy following the Googs Tract to Ceduna Southern Australia. This is Outlook #1 last night The Nullabor Road with stretch’s of 90 miles in a straight line across a mostly treeless plain. In the 500 plus miles you are many times within 10-15 miles of these cliffs. My jaw dropped when I saw these for the first time. These Sea Cliffs are probably the second best I have seen only the Cliffs of Mohr along Irelands West Coast have impressed me more. One week from tonight I will be at the airport hotel getting ready to catch my flight home. This lap my 4 th long journey in the past 8 years around and across this magnificent continent has been filling up my soul. Remember one of my favorite bumper stickers here “Adventure before Dementia” and Australia and it’s wonderful people have given me a lifetime of memories.

It's official. 🏆

Team #128 Yesterday's Rival — Racine Warner and Diane Walsh — finished 8th of 41 crews in the 4x4 class of the 2026 Rebelle Rally and won the 14-crew rookie class: Rookie of the Year, 4x4 class. The best all-rookie finish in the Rebelle Rally 4x4 class since 2022.

They didn't do it alone. Team #121 No-Man's Land — Kristina Reed and Katheryn Basso — took second in the rookie class, 15th overall. A veteran-founded crew who met through TORN Warriors, the adaptive extreme-sports nonprofit for combat-wounded and disabled veterans — proof of where that community's grit takes you.

Two INEOS Grenadiers in the field, first and second among the 4x4 rookies. Both crews ran all eight days, every checkpoint earned by map and compass.

Congratulations to Laura Wanlass and Teralin Petereit on winning the 4x4 class, and to every crew who crossed 1,500+ miles of Nevada and California desert to get to that finish arch. This field made eight days off-grid look like a calling.

Thank you to the Rebelle Rally staff and volunteers for an extraordinary event, to our sponsors who carried these teams all season, and a special thank-you to Allison Lind of INEOS for coming out to be with the teams in person. HELGA — three Rebelles in, and now the house has a trophy.

En este tercer capítulo del rescate de El Viejo Willys, la tecnología nos puso a prueba: el powerwinch dijo “no más” y se desactivó en pleno proceso. ¿Aflojar? Jamás. A pura fuerza humana, empujando y halando centímetro a centímetro, logramos asegurar a la leyenda sobre la plataforma de @trailermax
Pero el verdadero susto vino después…
Al arrancar y salir de la zona de haciendas, el tráiler se inclinó de forma peligrosa con el Willys a bordo. ⚠️ Momentos de tensión pura donde me tocó bajarme a evaluar rápidamente el riesgo real de un vuelco. Afortunadamente, no pasó a mayores, la tensión se convirtió en risas de alivio y logramos tomar carretera.
Logramos sacarlo, pero la historia apenas comienza…

Day 747 of Overlanding the Pan-American Highway.

So far, Peru has been pretty damn good to us when it comes to wild camping.

After visiting Pastoruri Glacier, we wanted a quiet spot to spend the night. And boy, did we find one.

A lake, mountains all around us, and the kind of place where you just want to sit by the water and take a moment to breathe. Although, at 4,800 metres, even that can take a little more effort than usual. 😂

We also had a chance to photograph the Milky Way, so Christian decided to set up a timelapse. The camera had to stay outside for a few hours to do its thing.

Now, here’s the catch. We’d read that pumas had been spotted in the area.

So, getting out of the warm Defender in the middle of the night, in complete darkness, suddenly required a bit more courage than expected. We turned on pretty much every light we had and hoped the camera knew what it was supposed to be doing.

The result? Absolutely worth it.

So, would you have risked a potential encounter with a puma for a few good Milky Way shots?
