A little fall dump for you 🎃 🍂 ☕️

I’m fascinated by this city. The architecture, the history, the people…❤️
I hate when people ask me why I chose to move here from Turkey🇹🇷 It was definitely a crazy coincidence that brought me here but the reason I stayed is everything I just mentioned.
I come from a big city in Turkey, surrounded by layers of Roman, Greek and Turkish history. So I guess I’ve always been drawn to places with stories to tell. But imagine arriving in a place like Elmwood Village, seeing Hotel Henry (now Richardson) lit up at night🤯 walking down Elmwood toward Allentown, stopping at little shops along the way, grabbing chocolate covered rice crisps from @lexingtoncoop (I’m addicted), renting a Reddy Bike and riding downtown, slowly discovering all the incredible things this city has to offer.
How can you not fall in love with a place like this?
I’m forever grateful to Buffalo for making me feel at home so far away from where I grew up🥹 For giving me the opportunity to buy my first home, for welcoming me when I was new here and for becoming a place where I feel like I belong❤️
And for the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of helping other people find their place here, too. There’s something so unbelievably special about helping someone put down roots, get their keys and start a new chapter in a place I love so much.
Maybe it wasn’t part of the plan but I’m so glad life brought me here. And almost 10 years later, I’m still finding new reasons to love this city.
I hope I can help you discover some of them too. ❤️
