LA🌴 was a movie! 🇳🇬🔥🇺🇸

After an incredible day celebrating Nigerian culture at @naija_fest, we kept the energy going at the official Naija Fest After Party in Los Angeles @theclublagosla! 🎉🥂

Most importantly, much love and a huge thank you to my brudda @peterpsquare for joining me and being part of such a special night. Having you there made the celebration even more meaningful. Nothing but love and respect always, my brother! 🙏🏾❤️

Big love to everyone who came out, showed love, and helped make the night unforgettable. From the festival to the after party, the energy, culture, and unity were on another level.

Grateful to everyone who helped bring the night together and to everybody who came out to celebrate with us.

Los Angeles, thank you! ❤️‍🔥

Finally… it’s out.

“Earned Not Given” is more than an album, it’s nights with no sleep, silent prayers, sacrifices nobody saw, and wins I had to fight for. Every sound on this project carries a piece of my journey.

From the grind to the glow… this one is personal.

Go run it up, feel it, live with it.
Tell me your favorite track when you tap in 🖤🔥

Timeless movement. Years later, and it still speaks like it was created yesterday. 🎥✨
Art doesn’t age — it evolves. This piece was created years ago, but the story still feels fresh every time it breathes again. #ADonflexxChoreography

#July - The Best Month cus ♌️🦁 lol

July is my birthday month but this year I won’t lie, I couldn’t really be excited for it. Postpartum is one of the most insane mental jungle gyms. It’s like you’re excited, in love, overstimulated, exhausted, sleep deprived, happy, sad, like literally it’s all over the place.

This was definitely a month of adjustment as all of the initial euphoria of motherhood started to settle down. My dad came back into town so that was nice. I had my first postpartum drink and didn’t enjoy how I felt lol. Auntie @rachsimmon came to visit and that made me happy 🥰

S/o to my husband @ovikelz though for being patient and supportive during this time whether it was getting me out for a date night while my mom or sister’s had Kadence, or just coming to take a walk with us ❤️. I even got all dressed up on my birthday and taken to a romantic dinner 🥰.

Even with all the emotions, just carrying my daughter around, cuddling her, holding her, just literally doing everything with her in tow was amazing. Granted, now she won’t let me do anything without her 😂 but that’s alright. Mommy is clingy too!

Side note, I’m still so amazed by the fact that my body can make milk 😂

S/o to big cousin @jourdynrose and auntie @lolaomotayo_okoye, we love yall ❤️❤️

#June - Joy

I can’t believe I’ve started my own little family 🥹❤️. But I really can’t believe I GREW A HUMAN. I spent the entire month of June just kind of obsessing over this little person so I don’t really have much to say lol

Looking back at these tho, wow, time flies! 🥹

#May - Mamacita

Enjoyed having a nice lunch with family and honestly after that, I could barely put pants on lol. That final stretch is crazy! S/o to my girl @hairdoneby_edy for my labor braids tho!

I spend most of May on the couch, exhausted. Then on May 20th @ovikelz asked me to help him cut his hair. I posted a pic saying “I’m so over being pregnant” and within 4 hours, my water broke at 11:58pm.

Water breaking is nothing like the movies! And for all the girlies who haven’t been through it yet, once it breaks, you literally just keep leaking until the baby comes out 😩😅.

It was late and my doctor said since I wasn’t contracting yet I could wait til morning to come in. So from 2am-6am I cleaned tf outta my house knowing then next time I got home would be with a baby. I didn’t even wake hubby up lol.

Honestly, I felt great lol. No contractions, just bliss and excitement. We took our time to leave the house and bae even washed our car lol.

Once we got to the hospital at 9:30am it was just the waiting game. Ball exercises, stretches, snacks lol. I honestly felt like I was the queen of labor. Then they hit my ass with that Pitocin and I ain’t got no videos or pictures from about round 4 of that til after baby was born cus wtf.

Was so grateful to have my mom, dad, husband, both sisters, and my niece at the hospital with me. #Blessed.

33 hours of labor, all natural, no epidural. Sheesh, a small price to pay for my greatest blessing ❤️.

#April Shower…. Baby Shower!

Funny story, my parents aren’t married to each other, never have been. Don’t talk regularly (or ever outside of me) but somehow they showed up to my shower wearing the SAME OUTFIT 😂😂😂. 100% unplanned and coincidental. Hilarious!

Being pregnant can make a girl so emotional! I went back and forth on if I even wanted a baby shower cus I felt overwhelmed and like I didn’t wanna “inconvenience” anyone lol. Also, these days I feel like there’s so much pressure to have an extravagant event.

Ultimately. We decided to just have it at our house. We were moved in enough and I have an amazing village that came through and gave us professional level decor and treats! S/o to my mom @terri_907 my sisters @paula.world_ and @just_key93, my niece @jourdynrose and of course my dawg @deetswithnique!!! They worked from the night before til the day of to make sure everything was perfect!

@ovikelz and I are so extra, cus why would we enter like we were going on prom 😂😍. We looked GOODT af tho sheesh 🔥.

Anyone that knows me knows there will be libations at any event I have even if I’m not indulging. lol. S/o to @ky_thomas3 for supplying Jell-O shots for all the guest.

All in all I felt so loved this day. The food was hitting! My husband and the guys had their own little party going on outside 😂. Like everything was just a vibe! My girl @sophiamybelle came down from Philly just for me 🥹. Cant find our pic tho smh lol.

Thank you to all who showed up and showed love. We love you ❤️
