A Public Apology & Thank You

To my family, friends, and everyone who enjoys and supports my content,

I sincerely want to apologize for taking a break from social media without publicly communicating or explaining my absence. I was going through a lot personally, and I needed some time away to process, reflect, and take care of myself.

I’m truly sorry if my sudden absence left anyone wondering where I was. I take the support and connection I have built with you all very seriously, and I promise to communicate better moving forward.

Thank you to everyone who continued to check in, support me, engage with my work, and stand by the little impact I’m trying to make through my work and online platforms. I genuinely appreciate every single one of you.

I’m grateful for the journey so far, and I promise to return better, greater, stronger, and more intentional. This is not the end, it’s simply a pause before the next chapter.

God Did.

Looking back on this journey, I can honestly say there were many moments when I doubted myself. After completing my undergraduate studies outside the Fine Arts discipline, I was constantly told that pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) would be too difficult or even impossible. Those words were discouraging, and there were times I came close to giving up because the voices of doubt were so loud.

But by God’s grace, I kept going. Looking back now, I know it was God who carried me through every challenge.

Everything I have, God gave me. Everything I am, God made me. My life is nothing without Him. To God Almighty alone be all the glory, honor, and praise. God did.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ovuike, for believing in me and standing by me every step of the way.

My sincere appreciation goes to my supervisors, Dr. Terry Bright Ofosu and Dr. Narh Hargoe, for their guidance, mentorship, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout this journey.

A special thank you to Pastors Henry Hubert for your prayers, support, and encouragement.

To my siblings and my small circle of friends, thank you for listening to me, encouraging me, and patiently enduring all my moments of venting and overthinking. Your support meant more than you know.

The boy who was once sent home from school because he couldn’t pay his school fees is now a Master of Fine Arts graduate from the University of Ghana.

This achievement is a testimony that God can rewrite any story.
