🌟Today, as children across the country return to school and many begin or continue their exams, my prayer is simple:

May they have peace instead of anxiety.
May they have clarity instead of confusion.
May they have understanding and confidence to do their very best.

Most importantly, may they know they are loved, valued, and capable even when they doubt themselves.

As a mother of 21 years, TEDx speaker, award-winning parent and family support practitioner, and someone who has spent over two decades supporting children, young people, and families, I know that academic success is only one part of the journey. Our children need encouragement, resilience, belonging, and adults who believe in them.

For many parents, another challenge is already on the horizon: transition.

Whether your child is starting primary school, moving to secondary school, beginning sixth form, or preparing for university, transition can bring excitement, uncertainty, worry, and questions about how best to support them.

That’s why I’m delighted to invite you to the Purposeful Parenting in the Digital Age Summit & Book Launch on 27 June in London.

Starting the summer months off in the right way ☀️

I attended the @ovrflw_ Prosper event created by the amazing @elainecwalker (founder of @ovrflw_ ) a network built on Christ to uplift women and raise the bar in every aspect of life. And sure enough, they did NOT disappoint.

Glorious weather, unmatched decor, incredible food, and even better company. My Sis @imagininganya40 from @brownskingirlsnetwork blew me away with her words of wisdom, and the insights from @cdboateng and @reneeimafidon were absolutely unmatched.

All the speakers were amazing tbf

There were moments I just sat back, observed, and soaked in the energy and greatness in the room. 🙌

Ladies, if you haven’t been before, this is definitely a room you want to be in next year. ✨

There is something powerful about being in rooms where honest conversations are happening conversations about money, finances, business, faith, wellbeing, growth and the realities of building intentionally 💭✨

As part of the panel discussion this bank holiday at the Overflow women’s event (@overflw_) alongside other women entrepreneurs, leaders and advocates, we explored the topic of scaling business, wealth creation, investment and legacy.

One thing that was consistent in the conversation was that growth and success on business doesn’t happens by accident. It takes:

⭐️ DISCIPLINE to stay committed even when the journey feels uncomfortable.

⭐️ ACCOUNTABILITY because we are more likely to stick to things when we do not walk alone.

⭐️ SYSTEMS which must be added to our talent and skills to be real business owners.

⭐️ UNDERSTANDING that true wealth is not about appearances, but about stewardship, assets and long-term thinking.

✨

Which lesson resonated with you most? I’d love to hear your thoughts below 👇

Save this post for later and share it with someone building intentionally this season.

@ovrflw_

That’s the word I keep coming back to.

A room full of women founders. Talking honestly about wealth, wellbeing, prosperity and purpose. No performing. No shrinking. Just women showing up fully and reminding each other what’s possible.

I left thinking about how often women are told to choose. Build the business or protect your peace. Chase prosperity or stay grounded in faith. Pour into others or pour into yourself.

Overflow says you don’t have to choose. You can have a full cup and still pour. You can build wealth and still walk in wellbeing. You can rise and bring others with you.

If you’re a woman founder reading this, find your rooms. Pay to be in them. Sit next to women who are already living what you’re praying for.

That’s where the shift happens!

Thank you @elainecwalker for curating these spaces x
