🎶 I’ve been quiet for a while. 🎶

•Life has taken an unexpected turn, and this has forced me to slow down, focus on healing, and figure out what this next chapter of my life looks like.

•At first, I didn’t want to share this injury this time. I was going to 🎶 keep it on the low.🎶 However, after having to start a GoFundMe, I figured that itself would publicize what’s happening so here we are…

•It has been an adjustment, but I’m learning that just because life looks different now doesn’t mean my story has stopped.
I’m ready to start sharing again! Sharing the good, the difficult, the growth, and everything in between.

•If you’ve been here for a while, thank you for still being here! And if you’re new, 🎶 welcome. ✨🎶

We’re starting a new chapter.
What have I missed? Tell me something good. 🫶🏽

Professional Wrestler, Dr. Big Zo explains that there can be too much of a good thing. Sometimes over-exposure can result in burn out and resentment. Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder because Familiarity Breeds Contempt.

In life, sometimes we must disappear so that people can miss us.

My therapist once told me, “Hurt people hurt people.” It reminded me that pain may explain our actions, but it doesn’t excuse them. Healing means taking responsibility for what we carry, choosing to break unhealthy patterns, and refusing to pass our wounds on to others. Unfortunately for @joiyablake , I skipped my session this week.

Future @OVWrestling legend Dr. Big Zo has a message to fellow wrestlers and fans alike. Don't allow others assessment of your value to determine your self worth! Do the work to make your own opportunities when things aren't going your way. Attract good energy and be ready for success when the time comes by investing in yourself now!
