Meet the cast of Macbeth!

I'm incredibly honored to be directing this extraordinary group of actors for the New Mexico Shakespeare Festival aongside a phenomenal production team! I cannot wait to dive into and bring one of Shakespeare's most haunting and thrilling tragedies to life. Get ready for an American Gothic 1800s Macbeth!

Now first...A quick vacation 😁😁🏝

Macbeth opens October 9th at the Keshet Dance Center for the Arts, and I cannot wait for everyone to see what we're creating!

THE DRAGGYS// this event was always going to be full circle for me. one year ago on the day of the draggys, i lied in a hospital bed just one or two days into recovery from the hardest surgery of my life, sending messages of support to my community with tears in my eyes, wishing i could be there. this year, i got to perform onstage as Starrla after a night full of supporting my favorite people, officially fully recovered. thank you to @actualofficialben for having me, to my lovely angel of a +1 @viviennehardwood, and to my community for supporting my journey so far. i am so grateful because i truly won the best prize of all, the chance to dance better than ever, live my life to the fullest, and connect with community again. 🥹🌟

hopefully you’ll see these wheelz up on the draggys stage again soon! #starrlawheelz

Auditions!!! I cannot wait to see everyone audition this weekend, Saturday June 20th and Sunday 21st! With Callbacks Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th At the Keshet center for the arts!

I love this play so much and am so excited to bring it to life! I'm setting it in the mid-1800s and inspired by New England iconography, American spiritualism movement of the time, and American Gothic horror literature. The play will be 1-hour-and-50-minute journey into the dangers of ambition and the terror of tyranny, where the momentum builds on itself scene by scene. The themes of fate vs free will, dominate my approach to this haunting tragedy and cautionary tale of ambition.

I'm so lucky to have an incredible production team! The one and only Donna Barra, as my SM, Alex Avila as my AD, and my incredible designers with Riley Lewis doing his magic designing lights, Zane Barker chreographing outstanding fights, Owen Danan Martin designing the sound and composing lovely music, Ryan Jason Cook desiging and incredible set, Kaylee Silcocks designing and building beautiful costumes and Quinten Avila designing the great props!

I can't wait to see the talented actors that will be our final piece! I'm looking for actors of all ages, and experience and I'm happy to discuss my vision with everyone! But grab an audition slot and get more audition information on the website: https://nmshakes.org/audition/
