Finally home and rested after an incredible time with @worldskategames in Asunción, Paraguay. A huge thanks goes out to @enumbert @haxmeaton and the rest of the team for bringing me down to South America to help out with the @wsgasu26. Producing downhill races is incredibly challenging. And, doing it on a different continent, in a foreign country, with massive language and cultural barriers makes it so much harder. Very proud of what this team was able to accomplish.

This event was on a scale like nothing I’ve ever seen before in downhill. And, despite my racing career being over for the time being, I’m very grateful that I still get to connect with my community through events like these.

Until next friends. Y todos mis novias, espero volver a verlos algún día 🫶🫶

World Skate Games 2026 was incredible! Definitely in part due to having our Team Doc ready to keep us all in peak condition to perform our best! @alligaiter was putting in the WORK! From navigating the Paraguay Trauma Center for broken bones, torn ligaments, sprains and recovery- she even helped out Team Canada!
Huge special thanks to Alex for her volunteer work this week!

The R4W rating has a new model, live since Oct 7.

Your rating still updates on its own after every race. What we held back was the model itself: we tuned it after the World Skate Games in Asunción, where riders from every national scene raced in the same heats. That is the best test a rating can get.

What changed:
• Field strength now comes from who beat whom. A Plackett-Luce fit reads every finishing order on R4WRUN, heats and results, and carries strength between scenes through the riders who race both.
• A strong field lifts your percentile, a weak one lowers it. Event names don’t count.
• Women, masters and inline are measured against fields of their own class.
• New tier lines: gold from 80, silver from 70, bronze from 60.

Slide 3 shows some of the most noticeable moves between Oct 2 and Oct 7: the new model and the ASU26 results together.

We believe this is the most accurate rating the scene has had. It’s not finished. If your number feels off, DM us or write at r4wrun.com/feedback.
