One of my favorite pictures taken of the wedding party of my dreams -every one of these people mean the world to me- the combination of Josh and I’s families and chosen families. I am beyond grateful and feel so lucky to have each of you in my life and that you were all able to come together to celebrate with us at the place that I hold most dear to my heart, a place Josh fell in love with that first summer 13 years ago-our family cottage, the Huvila, (means place of fun in Finnish). This photo is taken on the sauna porch. I grew up here, learned to swim here, took hundreds of saunas and jumped in the lake after, every year of my life, along with five generations of my family and our extended families. It’s my happy place and it was incredibly special to get to share it with so many people that I love dearly. @lararosephoto took our wedding photos if you’re looking for someone to capture the day- I can’t recommend her enough.

A great shot of our first tour bus van thing, in all of her glory. Racked up 318,000 miles, when we “donated” her to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. #rockandrollhalloffame #thehighstrung #joshmalerman #bandvan #whatdrivesus

Joyful reunion with my old friends @thehighstrung last night in Detroit. The Possibilities toured with them all over the place back in the day and they still bring all the exuberance and heart and bubblegum vibes. Pairing them with the mighty @musicofeyelids and then getting to add some crunchy transistor organ to the @model_citizen_al sound made for thee most memorable evening!
