COUNTDOWN “What’s My Line? Drawing as Experience” is on view through July 16th. The exhibition opens with a large-scale, durational drawing located at the entrance of the library _ an initial gesture, an unfolding trace that greets the viewers before they enter the space. Inside the main room, this dialogue expands through a selection of works, including three other pieces of mine, that intimately converse with the work of an incredible group of artists. You are warmly invited to visit and explore before the closing. 📍 Miami Beach Regional Library | 227 22nd St, Miami Beach, FL 33139 Curated by @2urn_ @edgezones Artists @carolabravoart @spence.r.chang @chrisfriday.art @garet_ny @felicegrodin @juraj.kojs @pablo_matuteart @anamosqueraduran @owenribbit judithrobertson.com @sterlingrook @laurencia.s @albatrianastudio @extravirginpress @mwpinkblue Library & County @miamidadepubliclibrary @miamidadearts #whatsmyline #drawing #fineart #sitespecificart #durationalperformance

hi All, i'm excited to share that my work will be included in the upcoming group exhibition: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗠𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲? 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 curated by the awesome Dimitry Saïd Chamy @2urn_ for Edge Zones Gallery @edgezones at the Miami Beach Regional Library . Please join us for the Opening Reception from 2– 4pm this Saturday, May 2 at the Miami Beach Regional Library. It is free and open to the public — and runs through July 16, 2026 . "Sixteen artists. One question: what does drawing trace when it follows experience itself? From monumental chalk figures to harmonic motion photographs, from a line that never lifts off the wall to data rendered as kinetic self-portrait — this exhibition holds drawing as a living act, not a finished image. Come see what a line can hold." . This March, together with @roryoshe , we launched ”Listening Eyes” – a digital exhibition we had been working on for the past two months. The exhibition existed as an interactive map. The title came from a dream: a mole who cannot see, and a fish who has no voice – each lacking what the other has. The exhibition brought together 17 works across five thematic sections, moving through questions of digital intimacy, surveillance, the limits of sound and image. ”Listening Eyes” had no fixed sequence. Visitors chose the order, whether to return to a work, pause or mute. Thank you to all the artists for sharing their works, to @freyedev for the website, to @jaycomeinpeace for the design and to everyone who spent time inside the space! → link to the exhibition documentation https://www.projetbetula.com/listening-eyes

| Listening Eyes | As Listening Eyes comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who joined us in this shared space of listening, looking, and wandering. This exhibition was shaped by resonance, attention, and the many ways we encounter one another through image, sound, text, and time. Listening Eyes is conceived as a digital environment in which sound, text, and moving image (co)exist without merging into a single form, and operate through horizontal resonances rather than a fixed structure, with thematic groups serving as points of orientation rather than final interpretations. In such a space, perception becomes a fluid phenomenon, and distance can create a new kind of closeness and intimacy. Within this structure, we, as viewers, become active agents who form our own experience by following the map and making choices. We choose the order of viewing, whether to return to a work, pause, rewind, mute or activate sound, read or ignore text. The work unfolds differently depending on these decisions. In many cases, without such participation, the work does not fully come into being. The viewer participates in the artwork’s realisation Read the full exhibition text and Enter the map | Link in bio www.projectbetula.com/listening-eyes

We are used to reading the suggestion of interactivity as an invitation to control a system (even if only partially). And we freeze when that invitation deceives us. It prompts us to act, even creates an expectation of response, may register our presence, and then mocks that expectation by taking away our ability to affect what is happening. We are excited to announce that Listening Eyes, Projet Betula’s new online exhibition, is now open. The title of the exhibition, Listening Eyes, was inspired by a dream about a conversation between a mole and a fish. The mole cannot see, and the fish has no voice — each lacks what the other possesses. Their meeting embodies the idea that perception is connected not to completeness, but to the chance of mutual support. Listening and seeing work together as interrelated ways of relating to the world. The exhibition uses this image to think of perception as something shared, partial, and constructed through interaction.
