Last night’s Premiere of “Secret Life” was so special. There is no better feeling (second to being a mom) than collaborating with other artists and creating something that resonates with our community. Hearing the laughs and the gasps, and seeing my friends absolutely kill it with their performances, watching all that @whitetiger_sp poured into this film be brought together into an extraordinary piece of art was …everything.

ITS HAPPENING!!!

The premiere for Secret Life is just around the corner! This was my very first feature film that I had the pleasure of being a part of. I made incredible friendships with the cast a crew of this project that have lasted the years since being invited to be a part of this crazy story!

Join us for the exciting world premiere of the feature film SECRET LIFE at the Whitsell Auditorium in the Portland Art Museum. This special in-person event will take place on August 21, 2026 at 7 PM, with a live music performance starting at 6 PM by composer Jay Ringer. After the showing we will have a Q&A with the cast to answer any questions you may have!

For all my friends and family wondering when they can see me on the big screen THIS IS THE ONE TO SEE!

For purchasing tickets you can either click the link in my bio or scan the QR code on the last slide.

Can’t wait to see you all there!

I have needed a good 24 hours to sit with what was arguably one of the top moments of my life, sharing Winters, Nebraska with cast and crew and a lot of wonderful people who came to support us. Thank you to every one of you. The response we are receiving is overwhelming and we feel so fortunate to be able to tell the stories we want to tell, to work with incredibly talented actors and crew, and to create connections and conversations. Gonna leave a quote I saw today on Facebook:

"It was a privilege to see the screening last night. The cast delivered a deeply moving tale of love, loss and the price we are willing to pay to retrieve that which is most precious to us. This is a visually evocative and emotionally strong delivery of a subject that, through the telling, helps to bring us to the compassion and understanding that it deserves."

What a night. ❤️

It's been so wonderful doing some pick-ups for "Winters, NE." Seeing @owensduval and @mxchaelridley work out there scene was amazing! This experience has reminded me that as a creative it's good not to settle. @edelehoy has a vision for this film and he wasn't quitting until he got these scenes right! Be like him.

Enjoy the sneak peak of this Steven Perkins Production and we can't WAIT to show you the final product!

“Driven Memories”
===
When I wrote this script, the idea was to tell the story of the kind of connection that lives beyond the photo, the trip, or the moment. I was trying to convey the special gift of creating and nurturing the chosen family that some of us are fortunate enough to have and the quiet rituals that keep us tethered to each other and to ourselves.

At its core, this is a story of friendship told through movement, memory, and fragments of joy that remain for a lifetime.
I dont think it could be more appropriate to create such a narrative with some of my best friends of over a decade, and some new ones who are already part of my heart!
===
The Blurb:

Three friends reunite for a weekend road trip through the Pacific Northwest. There’s laughter, teasing, silence, and shared awe.
What begins as a simple getaway becomes a living time capsule -- captured through the lens of Bolex camera and preserved in the rhythms of the road.
The Acura RDX carries them through forests, overlooks, and waterfalls, but it’s the space inside the car and between the characters that carries the meaning.
Years later, the tradition continues. The people may change, wrinkles become more prominent, but the ritual of returning, remembering, and reconnecting remains.
This is not a narrative about cars, It’s about the roads that hold our stories and the bond that lure us towards those we chose to spend this short passage on this Earth with.

We've completed week 1 of 3 of this special film. The community of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming have embraced us and filled our bellies and hearts with local nourishment.

The heart and soul being poured into Winters, Nebraska stopped me in my tracks daily. Our crew is immensely talented and organized, and our cast is killing their roles of complex characters and emotion.

With a weekend off, we begin week 2 of Jack's journey.
