🇨🇦🏈 October is Canadian Women’s History Month! This month, we celebrate the women and girls who have helped shape the game of football in Ontario, and those who continue to push the sport forward. From grassroots programs to Team Ontario's high-performance pathways, opportunities for women and girls in football continue to grow. Whether it's flag or tackle, every athlete deserves the opportunity to play, compete, develop, and pursue their goals. We're committed to building on the progress, breaking down barriers, and creating a future where every girl can see herself in football. 🏈 #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInFootball #FootballForALL #FootballOntario #WomenInSport

Being coachable doesn’t mean being perfect. It means listening when a coach is trying to help you. It means taking feedback without shutting down. It means asking questions when you don’t understand. It means making the adjustment even when it’s uncomfortable. The best athletes aren’t the ones who never make mistakes. They’re the ones who can hear, learn, adjust, and come back better on the next rep. Listen. Learn. Adjust. Repeat.

Behind every great player is a coach who believes in them, challenges them, and inspires them to be their best. This National Coaches Week, we celebrate the incredible coaches of the Cumberland Panthers Girls Football Club who give their time, energy, and passion to developing our athletes both on and off the field. From teaching the fundamentals and building confidence to fostering teamwork, resilience, and a love for the game, your impact extends far beyond the scoreboard. Thank you for the countless hours, the unwavering dedication, and the difference you make in the lives of our players every single day. Same Game. Bigger Leaders. Stronger Together. 🏈 6v6 isn’t small football. Fewer players doesn’t mean less football. It means more space, more responsibility, and more opportunities to make a play. 💗⚔️ 40-yard-wide field. Three downs. Six players. Same toughness. Same intensity. Same game we love. Women’s football continues to grow across Ontario — and we’re proud to be part of it. Different format. Same grit. #OWFL #WomensFootball #6v6Football #FootballOntario #WomenInSport

HISTORY MADE! We are so excited to announce that coach Doug Van Moorsel will be back with the Black & Silver, leading the BRAND NEW Women’s Titans U19 Tackle as Head Coach for the 2027 OWFL season!
