Joyce update:

So happy to be working with @kriegerdebbie again, she is such a talented actress. We have known each other for a long time, we first met at Anna Scher and then she was in my TV a pilot ‘In the Spotlight’. We still go to classes together at The Outcasts Creative

Debbie will be playing my boss Shirley in @joyce_mentalhealthfilm A film about mental health and addiction

Debbie always knew she had a love for acting. She finally plucked up the courage and started attending the Anna Scher Theatre. Since then she has never looked back. She went on to audition and get into also Identity drama school where she played Liz Morgan in Our Country's Good, the psychiatrist in Psychoisis. She has featured in various films such as A Lesson For Kings, Thinking Out Loud, Violin and Blood & Carpet which was shown at the Marbella International Film Festival.

She went on to win the master class entry for Monologue slam at the Stratford theatre.

She has also been involved in many theatre plays including Just Above Dogs, Singles Holiday, Sweeties to name but a few.

🇬🇧 Now that I can feel the contractions from my short film The Aftermath finally being born into the world, it's impossible not to think about what it really means for me to finish it.

There's a lot of truth in this film. And much more of myself than I ever thought I could share with the world. I was vulnerable, but that only made me stronger. A lot of pain and tears that were building up found a escape through this simple story about women that decide to see themselves in each other so they can finally move on besides the wounds opened by sexism and violence. It's about hard choices, responsibility, sacrifice and what really means sorority.

I'm very proud of what the amazing team behind the film and I managed to achieve with so little and I can't wait to share it with you!

Keep your eyes open for more news!
