Thank IconSade for sharing this clip from 2014. 3 years after the Soldier of Love tour.

Sade appeared at the 2014 Music Week Awards in London on April 24, 2014, to personally present the prestigious Strat Award to Columbia US Chairman Rob Stringer.

I post this as a challenge to myself to achieve one of my impossible goals to produce a one night only concert performance featuring Sade (the band) exclusively in 2026.

And to have Maxwell as the only special guest because there is a music connection through Stuart Matthewman. And because Maxwell is a phenomenal legendary singer/songwriter.

The joy it would bring to the world cannot be underestimated. So one post a day until it is a reality. 🙋🏾‍♀️

Even though George Michael is no longer in the physical realm, this would have been amazing. What do you think of this collaboration and instrumental?

A short clip of Sade performing “Babyfather” off of the Soldier of Love album. I want to post longer clips but I get account issues doing that. So this will suffice for now.

My original post for today was blocked for copyright issue so I reused a previous post that had low engagement.
