Here’s a sneak peek at a piece I created recently for the wonderful @blaslondon_ who’s coffee is taking over Victoria Park (best park in London)

They wanted to improve the visibility of their retail display in order to reflect the quality of their offering.

Such a fun project to work on, and more exciting things to come!

I’m very excited to be one of the 70 selected designers and artists launching with @makers.made, an exciting new platform for independent makers in the UK.

MAKERS MADE is a place for buyers, interior designers, collaborators and customers to find artisanal products and the artists behind them.

Huge thanks to @halhaines.studio @harliebrownstudio @k.s.creative.pottery @rosieharbottle @sophieharpleystudio who have worked so hard to get this collaborative venture up and running! Excited to see what’s ahead for the community!

A lovely summer treat to have the first chair I designed featured in a @livingetcofficial cover shoot.

From July’s edition on ‘Playfulism’ (as dubbed by @pip.rich) which featured design “inspired and infused with the imagination of surrealists… giving interiors a wonderful dreaminess”, Chunk the Chair is photographed with a vintage @rochebobois armchair and a Pukka armchair from @ligneroset

Elephant Bird Egg stand, Highgate, 2024

My most curious commission to date, I was asked to design a display stand for a 30cm tall fossilized egg, belonging to the now-extinct Elephant bird, a huge, flightless bird from Madagascar that died out somewhere between 1400-1600. There are believed to be only 40 of these beauties in public collections.

Commissioned for a private project by @oliver__lyttelton ♥️

@meplace.co focus on the holistic wellbeing and education of children, a mission which we have embedded in our designs for their latest nursery in Kings Cross.

From a colourscheme that helps children build a sense of self and community, to carefully scaled fittings that empower their independence, we have baked this passion into the new @meplace.co space.

We’re looking forward to showing more of how the interiors support mental and physical wellbeing through our child-centric designs soon!

Donut Swing, 2024.

Private Commission in Highgate, London.

The brief for this project was to design a swing seat for an atrium space in a private residence. Thanks to the very talented @oliver__lyttelton for getting me involved, it was refreshing to have so much freedom to create joyful objects for some likeminded clients.

The seat consists of a slab of handturned walnut, recycled foam upholstered with @designersguild bouclé and three powder coated steel chains.

We’re excited to be delivering a new nursery in the heart of King’s Cross for @meplace.co , coming summer 2024 ☀️

With a firm focus on mental and physical health, every aspect of the design has been considered with this in mind. Palettes of materials and colours have been carefully selected to support the wellbeing of the young learners in MEplace.

New work. An inspired scene taken from some of my favourite surrealist painters and @graceacladna stoic stance in this set amongst fashion and interiors plays homage to Giorgio de Chirico and Salvador Dali. I had the pleasure to Art Direct and Interior Style this wonderful story for @livingetcofficial July Issue. Shot incredibly by @sibev Thank you for all those involved.
