🚬oyyyy don’t take it on the contractor! 👷‍♂️

Had loads of fun playing with this scene. I love coming down to Natalia’s Selftape gym, always great scenes and loads to train.

As a foreigner, I always finding myself couldn’t fully understand the weight of words in English immediately. It’s very different comparing with my mother tongue. When I see script in Mandarin, I will be able to recognise the intensity of the scene straightaway. But in English, it can take double times or even triple times of my energy to understand the script properly.

Being a foreigner shouldn’t be the excuse. But it’s definitely harder than my mother tongue. And I am still working on it.

Thank you, Natalia for offering the platform for people who are desperately searching for growth.
Also, big thanks to Christina who read the script with me!!

To be honest, is a bit weird of me to post this. Because I’m still very self-conscious about my acting skill. It’s a whole new skill set for me to learn again. BUT I AM WORKING ON IT. Arigato✌🏼

Some scenes stay with you long after you stop acting them.

A moment from one of the most emotionally demanding monologues I’ve worked on with @owningitactingstudio — playing a young mother in hospital, trying to process the loss of her baby at birth.

One of those scenes where the challenge isn’t to show the emotion, but to let it exist. 🎬
