📖 I’m Not a Chef — Coming in 2027

From a $5.99 oxtail dinner to something beyond anything I could have imagined. ❤️

What started as a joke during a beautiful morning walk with my amazing wife, Tania, became a dream that changed our family’s life. Behind every plate is a story—my Jamaican roots, my beloved Mama Ida Reid’s lessons, the sacrifices, and everyone who believed in us.

Part cookbook, part storybook, this is my journey from our backyard to the Chef Dean Experience. And instead of chapters, we’re serving up “chops.” 👨🏽‍🍳🔥

I can’t wait to share it with you.

Special thanks to my little team: my camera girl, daughter @oshungoddess_ Trina—she hates when I say that, but in my eyes, she’ll always be my little daughter—and my son, a.k.a. @boggie8_ Boogie, who is always holding the camera for Daddy. No matter the time or how late it is, they’re always there. Because of their dedication, we’ve reached 1 million followers across all our social media platforms.

And to my two little deep-fryer daughters, who always make the plans just right, and Mama Fyffe, who always takes care of our guests—especially those who ask for another piece of oxtail with dumplings and extra gravy—your hard work does not go unnoticed.

2027 is our year—everyone’s year.

I’m not a chef—I’m out.

This is for you. ❤️

Have you ever felt like giving up because you weren’t seeing the results you hoped for?

This is your reminder to keep going.

You can do it. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

The journey won’t be easy. There will be setbacks, long nights, sacrifices, and moments when you question if it’s all worth it. But don’t stop.

While the world is resting, you keep moving. While others are sleeping, you keep working. Every small step you take today is building something bigger than you can see.

There will be days when you feel like quitting because the progress seems slow. Those are the moments that define you. Keep showing up. Keep giving it your all.

Here’s the secret: Don’t do it only for the money or the recognition. Do it because you love it. Do it because you want to make a difference. Do it because helping others gives your life purpose.

But while you’re busy pouring into everyone else, don’t forget to pour into yourself too.

Ask yourself:

Am I doing enough for myself?

Keep believing.
Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep pushing.

Your breakthrough could be one more step away.

@oxtail_5.99 Success doesn’t happen overnight—it happens through consistency. @hot5.99

There will be days when you’re tired.
There will be days when nobody claps for you.
There will be days when it feels like nothing is changing.

Keep showing up anyway.

Every early morning, every late night, every sacrifice, and every small step forward is building something bigger than you can see today. Stay committed to your vision, trust the process, and never underestimate the power of being consistent.

One day, people will call you lucky. They’ll never see the countless hours, the setbacks, and the determination that got you there.

Don’t quit.
Keep pushing.
Your breakthrough could be one more day of consistency away. 💪🔥
