It’s a brain! 🧠

It took exactly 7 meters of imported fabric, 4 hands and 3 kilos of cotton, just to make this brain melting

And tks Vittorio Emanuele being always the best neighborhood for finding fabrics

XV Florence Biennale finished, and now I can say how grateful I am to have exhibited my new artistic proposal, which I’ve been thinking about and developing since the beginning of the year. This Biennale was the place where I could present my first handmade fabric sculpture.

The proposal brings the idea of synesthetic stimuli (still in development), but the Biennale marked the starting point of this research in practice.

I feel extremely lucky and grateful to have so many people around me who helped me so much in the process of creating this work, in different ways. On the middle of the rush time to organize everything each one of them hold my hand. I consider they are part of this structure as well, with their souls too.

XV Bienal de Florença finalizada, agora posso dizer o quanto sou grata por ter exposto minha nova proposta artística, na qual venho pensando e desenvolvendo desde o início do ano. Essa Bienal foi o lugar onde pude apresentar minha primeira escultura feita à mão com tecido.

A proposta traz a ideia de estímulos sinestésicos (ainda em desenvolvimento), mas a Bienal marcou o ponto inicial dessa pesquisa na prática.

Me sinto extremamente sortuda e grata por ter tantas pessoas ao meu redor que me ajudaram tanto no processo de criação dessa obra, de diferentes maneiras. Em meio à correria pra organizar tudo, cada uma delas segurou a minha mão. Considero que também fazem parte dessa estrutura com a alma.
