As soon as I learned I’d be traveling to Turkey with @globalsoundconcerts, I had a vision of recording musicians in front of balloons rising at dawn behind them. I’m so grateful to @klasikkeyifler for connecting me with HOPPA Project. They traveled from Ankara 3 hours to meet me for this spectacular moment @taskonaklarhotelcappadocia over looking pigeon valley in stunning Uçhisar Cappadocia 🌞 🎈 🇹🇷

@atakanturac - Saz
@ramazankonak_ - Darbuka

Here's my improvised intro to the song Tuz, live with @seyyahmusic at the release concert for our second album last january at @paribuart . Go watch the whole thing on Youtube!

Tuz is a composition of mine from our first (eponymous) album to which @cerenkacarcc wrote lyrics. Being on stage with that very special group of friends, being offered this moment of calm to introduce the song in front of a faaabulous public is a very precious moment which I will treasure long. Biiiig thanks @cerenkacarcc @ozandemir.a @gabrielmeidinger @mehmetaliorman @alibaranozzcan @gunes_cantolibre @jopomozaffar @keremcanaslann

bu şarkıyı yazdığımızda göç yolunda denize canını emanet edenler vardı aklımızda. -her şeyin ilacı daima tuzlu sudur, ter, gözyaşı, deniz’i duyunca şarkıya martılar kondu, yan yana gelip sesimizi birlikte duyurunca bize şifa oldu.
