That's good. 'Mobléd queen' is good. Thus began the funnest, busiest, most humidest contract with the best people ever. I can't tell you how AWESOME working at @texasshakes was. HIGHLY recommend. Started the season off with The Play of All Plays: Hamlet (a.k.a. The Barnardo and Francisco Show). After about 6 weeks of rotating rep rehearsals for 5 shows, opening night came. Spoiler alert: he dies every time. Mostly. 🧟‍♂️ Matthew Simpson let me be a freaky zombie guy when I didn't have lines, liked it well enough, and just kept giving me stage time. No complaints here. Came in handy for the next contract I worked. Did a lot of self tapes late into the night in a building that had working AC. Mostly. 🥵 Texas Shakespeare Festival Director: Matthew Simpson Stage Manager: Sophie Biladeau (@sophbilodeau) Choreographer: Audrey Lassanske (@audreyyann__) Scenic & Properties Designer: Meghan Potter Costume Designer: Ryan Sozzi (@ryanscott91) Lighting Designer: Jonathan Leatherman (@jonathanleatherman) Sound Designer: Lizi Shaul (@lizishauldesign) Properties Supervisor: Travis Driver Wig Stylist: Tatyana Thompson Baker (@teacupstime) Scenic Charge Artist: Emmaline Naud 📸: @lizishauldesign, @adam_kodada, and, of course The John Dodd And now my parents want to move to Kilgore? Anyways.
