Mot - Victim CD now available. Ordering info + sound samples in story / highlights.  MOT’s new release VICTIM sounds like raw current dangerously buzzing its way through a circuit path caked in dust and grime. As if slippery, buzzing loops were dragged across old tape heads - Fried, gritty sounds punctuated by amplified metals evoke instability and abrupt collapse. Limited edition CD housed in a 6-panel Digipak.

Today is Bandcamp Friday, the newest releases I have on hand are the following titles: Gleb Kanasevich - We Only Have But A Moment Helen Anahita Wilson - Nightshade Wasauksing Sniper - Night Action in Passchendaele MOT - Bruises For bandcamp Friday I’m placing a lot of the modern era releases on sale digitally for $1 ($2 for double discs) What I consider the modern era are the releases that started coming out when I purchased a home, so from FDR73 (Eryck Abecassis) onwards. My life has been incredibly busy since then, between being a homeowner, a parent, a partner, starting a mastering studio venture and at the time working a full time warehouse gig. It’s been a wild ride I’ve been beating myself up a lot lately because of the difficulty I’ve been having getting some of these releases out. Please trust me when I say it’s not lost on me that the øjeRum and Verónica Cerrotta releases are a year into pre-order at this point. I am embarrassed at that. But when I take stock into what I’ve achieved with Flag Day since FDR73 I have to give myself some grace. I was able to release 22 albums while trying to balance all of the above. I’m not perfect, I make mistakes, but I can at least say I’m not dumb and I won’t repeat mistakes. Putting all those albums into pre-order was a mistake and won’t be repeated. I’m really looking forward to finishing up these last two albums I have stuck in pre-order limbo. Thank you everyone for the years of support, the patience, the understanding. You all are amazing.

Contagious Orgasm & Regosphere - "Hot Concrete On Soft Skin" full length CD on Luce Sia limited to 200 copies. I just wanted to give this album some more love here before I start promoting my new tape next week. My copies were stuck in customs hell for nearly a month when it came out, so I wasn't able to do a post here like I normally would. 2 tracks totalling 40 minutes of pure psychedelic fever dream industrial and dark ambient music. I first heard CO on the Japanese/American noise treaty comp (it was my favorite track) back in the 90s as a teenager, so it's kind of crazy that we have become friends and made two albums together now! Quite the honor, and to have such amazing artwork by @p.vantrigt is the icing on the cake. Huge thank you to anyone who has picked it up already, and if you would like a copy, you can get it on the Regosphere bandcamp page in the US, the SSSM page in Asia and of course the Luce Sia page in Europe. Also if you bothered to read this far, keep your eyes peeled, because Hiroshi and I have something very special planned with another legend taking part in the future!
