💗MPL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT — CHARLIE ORELLANA 💗

You can’t miss Charlie Orellana on the courts — the pink hair gives him away! 😂💗

But Charlie brings a lot more than great hair to MPL. He’s one of those players who makes pickleball FUN. It’s always a great time playing against him because he comes onto the court with an awesome attitude, great energy, and a smile.

And his game? The improvement has been incredible. 💪🔥 Every time we see Charlie play, he’s getting better, competing harder, and adding something new to his game.

Great player. Great attitude. Great person to have as part of the MPL Family.

Keep grinding, Charlie — although we’re still not sure if the secret is practice… or the pink hair. 😂💗

MPL FAMILY ❤️ | COMPETE HARD. HAVE FUN.

One of my favorite parts of the night? Finding the perfect mid game fuel✨✨
I picked up a protein shake from P3 while playing at The Yards, and it kept me feeling energized without weighing me down. Exactly what I needed to finish the night strong!
If you’re at The Yards, make sure to check them out!

ThrowbackThursday 🏓❤️

Season 1 of the Mayor’s Pickleball League at The Yards.

It’s amazing to look back and see where it all began. What started as a group of friends playing together at McDonald’s Park has grown into something we could have only dreamed of.

Today, the MPL family is filled with incredible players, amazing friendships, unforgettable memories, and a community that continues to grow every single season.

To everyone who believed in the vision from Day 1, and to every new player who’s become part of this family—THANK YOU. Your passion, support, and love for the game are what make MPL so special.

This is only the beginning. Here’s to where we started… and to an even brighter future ahead.
