summer ministry and graduation, marking the end of my year at word of life! wow, what a summer that i truly didn’t expect. God showed me His sovereignty in every moment, even when His plan didn’t go the way i wanted or expected. looking back, i can see how intentionally God orchestrated everything for so much growth and how He used every situation to teach me to trust Him more. so thankful for all God has done this year and for the ways He has grown me through it all!

ISLAND 2026 WEEKS 5-7!!

Some of my favorite campers and favorite memories came from these weeks. They all challenged me as a follower of Christ and greatly encouraged me to keep being intentional with helping them grow more in love with Jesus. God is good and He always reminds me of the joy of being a counselor!!

That’s all folks,

Just like that, another season done. It was such a great time even with life just happening. All the people I got to talk to and share my story with was just absolutely mind blowing. All the new friends and all the old friends, God has changed our plans just for us to complete his plan for us. A year ago I would laugh at you if you told me I’d be graduating from Wolbi especially if you said I’d be serving on the Island. God put me here and I can tell you that I am so grateful for this opportunity. All the opportunities God gave me, I took as many as I could. I wish I had more time with people especially the few I got super close with this summer (and you all know who you are). I wish there was more time in general, life is short so go out and share the great news and trust God with all you do. Just go take that chance and see what happens. Nothing will change if you never try. All opportunities can change your life no matter how big or small. Even on the last day getting to talk and meet new people is just so amazing especially with how God just puts them in your life.

“Never give up on anything or anyone that you want”

Word of Life Island Week 6 2026 🍒🍋‍🟩
.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” - Numbers 6:24-26 (ESV)
.
As the camp season continues and we enter in the last 2 weeks of camp ministry God continues to reveal his faithfulness and grace on all of us! His love is always reaching into places of every life including mine where we never thought he could be! His love is touching me in ways I’ve never experienced! Jesus you revealed areas in my heart where I haven’t let you in yet and how you can change my life! Lord let these seeds that have planted in campers lives from the last 6 weeks continue to grow and come to fruition and that your love prevails over everything!

.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29 (ESV)
.
This week of camp has been a little different but God is still the same yesterday today and tomorrow! I was on gap this week after having the last two weeks of camp being long and tiring with many late nights so thankfully I was able to catch up on some rest this week and be able to spend quality time with the Lord! My spiritual battery is recharged and I’m ready for the last three weeks of camp here on The Island! God I thank you again for the amazing opportunity it is to serve and be a vessel of your love here on The Island this summer!

.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:4 (ESV)
.
Officially halfway through the summer season of ministry! Week 4 on The Island has been a blast! By far one of the best weeks of camp! I have been blessed with an amazing group of young men in my cabin who are all locked in and ready to share the gospel of Jesus Christ! There is something special about counseling teens who have a solid foundation in God who are willing to take that message into the world! The Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts of Gen Z/Gen Alpha and the flame in their hearts is burning bright! Thank you Jesus for another awesome week on the Word of Life Island! 4 more weeks of camp and God can still change hundreds of lives in the coming weeks!

“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,” - Colossians 1:13 (ESV)
.
Another week of camp in the books! Hard to believe it’s been three weeks of camp here on The Island! God continues to move in the hearts of the young generation and it is a blessing to see their growth in the word and to set a fire inside them that hopefully will not go out but burn bright for all to see! Jesus is moving across our nation and new fruits are coming out in these teens hearts! Lord it is a blessing to serve with Word of Life and see their hearts change from stone to flesh! (Half of my cabin rededicated their lives to Christ!) Praise God for all the work you are doing!
