Who I’ve been serving alongside for the past 10 weeks!!! The most servant-hearted, steadfast, and joy-filled group of people I’ve ever been a part of. It’s been the biggest blessing to spend time at CDR every summer for the past 11 years, and serve as a staff member for the past 4 summers. I love these people and this place more than I can put into words. I am sad to walk away, but joyful because I know that Christ is the reason this place is so good. “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy.”

Ephesians 2:4-5!!!! It is by His grace we have been saved!!!

What good news!!! & what a good summer spent learning about His grace & love for us!!! I know Christ more deeply because of this summer, and I’m so thankful for the reminder that even when we run or turn away, Jesus is already there and waiting for us to return!

I’m so lucky to do this with people that remind me of this daily! This community is like no other, and I’m so grateful to have served alongside the most caring, funny, joyful, and Christ-like people I know!!! I will treasure this summer & these people forever!!!

This summer reminded me that the Lord is so kind to let us experience pieces of His goodness here on earth. His faithfulness is evident in every conversation, every laugh, and every moment spent with people who continually point me back to Him.

I’m leaving with a heart that’s fuller than when I came—more in awe of who God is, more confident in His love, and more grateful for the way He pursues us, even when we wander.

And getting to share it all with some of the sweetest friends who reflect Jesus in the way they love, encourage, and celebrate others make life so much richer.

So thankful for this place, these people, and a God who gives us moments like these—a little taste of what eternity with Him will be like!

The 43rd annual Kirk Goodwin Run

This year’s beneficiary for the run was
Jasmine McCabe-Gossett: the Professional Development & Internship Director for the college of business

Over $39,000 raised throughout the course of the year, and from the run were able to go to Jasmine to help pay for her medical and treatment bills

Special thanks to all donors for giving, and clubs/runners who came out and supported!
