Participants to the event got to paddle a full round, around Chinese Garden to experience the sights and sounds from the water! [Part 1] 𝙄𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚. 🌊💚

Each of our event partners brought something different — and together, you made this day possible.

Our appreciation goes to:
PassionWave Marina Bay • The Bettering Branch• Singapore Association for Mental Health • HelloRide • A Media Print

Each brought something different to the day — expertise, activities, resources, volunteers and many helping hands behind the scenes. Together, you helped us create a space where seniors, youths, volunteers and the wider community could walk, cycle, paddle, dance, laugh and connect across generations.

And to the many other organisations and friends who supported us in different ways — thank you. Every contribution mattered. 💛

Waves of Hope showed us what is possible when we each bring what we can and come together for something bigger than ourselves.

Together, we can build a community where no one has to journey alone. 🌊

Litterlifters+ (Islandwide Edition) showed us what collective action can look like! 🌱✨

Co-organised by Youth Corps Singapore and Public Hygiene Council (@keepsgclean), together with key partners PAssion Wave (@pa.passionwave) and Stridy (@stridyapp), the programme brought 469 youths across Singapore together on 19 September at 9 sites islandwide to make a difference to our shared spaces, in conjunction with World Cleanup Day 🌏✨

From kayaking and litter-picking, to coastal and urban clean-ups, our volunteers took action to keep our waterways, neighbourhoods and streets clean 💪

Beyond picking up litter, volunteers also learnt about the impact of waste on our biodiversity and communities — reminding us that every small action can play a part in keeping Singapore clean, green and thriving 🌿

A big thank you to SPS @hanyangoh for joining us and showing her support for our youths and their commitment to making a difference! 💚

Here’s to continuing to care for the spaces we share, one piece of litter at a time. 🫶

Thank you to the Youth Corps Media Team @ycs.mediateam for capturing moments at our Urban Clean-up! 📸

New sport unlocked! 🔓✅

Last Friday (11 Sept), we had the opportunity of conducting our Dragon Boat Try Out program for the seniors at SUNLOVE Active Ageing Centre (AAC)! Although our time on water was short, we still had fun and had the best time together. ☺️

Thank you to SUNLOVE AAC for the opportunity to share our love and joy for our sport. 💝

Lastly, thank you to @pa.passionwave Jurong Lake Gardens for making this event possible. ☺️

A little sneak peek of what’s coming at Waves of Hope! 🌊💛

We’re celebrating 10 years of Ascending Hope, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than bringing our community together for new experiences, lots of laughter and a little adventure!

From dragon boating to cycling with our seniors and youth, there’s plenty to look forward to. We love seeing these moments where different generations get to spend time together, learn from one another and simply have fun. 🚣‍♀️🚴‍♂️

A big thank you to our Event Partner - @pa.passionwave Marina Bay for opening up your boathouse and giving our Ascending Hope community the opportunity to create opportunities for our community to try something new, connect across generations and make memories together as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations. 💛

And this is just a little preview… 👀

There’s still so much more coming at Waves of Hope. We can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone with everyone! 🌊✨

See you soon!
