Exactly one year ago today, we began a business adventure I had dreamed about for nearly two decades: bringing a little piece of Colombia to the Ozarks. ❤️🇨🇴 Today, Casa Macondo is celebrating its first anniversary, and I have so much to say and so many people to thank that I could write pages and pages about it!

But today, I especially want to highlight the people who helped turn this dream into a reality:
My husband Brian, for believing in me, encouraging me, and being by my side every step of the way.
My mom, for sharing her recipes and the flavors that remind me of home.
My brother Carlos, for his charm and the way he can make everyone feel welcome.
My nephew, for his magic hands and all the hard work behind the scenes.
🫘 My niece, for the love and care she puts into our beans.

Casa Macondo is a reality because of them, and because of every single person who has supported us from the very beginning. Every customer, friend, family member, neighbor, and person who has stopped by for a cup of coffee, an empanada, an arepa, or simply to say hello has been part of this journey.

What started as a dream has become a little corner of Colombia where we can share our coffee, our food, our culture, and most importantly, our love for community.

Here’s to many more years of good coffee, good food, Colombian sabor, and wonderful people. ☕️🇨🇴❤️

Gracias, Springfield, Missouri, for welcoming Casa Macondo with so much love. We are so grateful! 🎉☕️🇨🇴 @casamacondocoffee
