Some our DSR leaders had the opportunity to attend the Pacific Crest Leadership Camp this past week, where they learned valuable leadership skills, built lasting connections, and gained new ideas to bring back to our program.

We’re excited to see them put what they’ve learned into action as we prepare for an incredible season. Thank you, Pacific Crest, for investing in the next generation of leaders!

2026 PC LEADERSHIP CAMP 🌊🫀

This past weekend, our leadership team had the incredible opportunity to attend the MOVAL annual Pacific Crest Leadership Camp.

I’ve not only been so lucky to have meet the most inspiring, loving, and talented leaders from all over socal, but learn and grow with them.

Over this past weekend, I’ve not only reflected on what type of leader I’ve been, and what person I’ve been. However most importantly, set a goal and a standard of what kind of leader I should and hope to be.

In short-

“Don’t compromise your character because of your circumstances.” -Sarah

“Being vulnerable together is the only way, a team can become invulnerable”- Katie

“You can’t be everything for everyone all the time”- Shawn

“You can’t fill a cup from an empty cup”- Ashley

“People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”- J-Dawg (Lomeda)

“Actively choose to treat others with Love”- Triple Teal

Four unforgettable days at Pacific Crest Leadership Camp! 🎶💙
Our student leaders had the opportunity to learn from incredible instructors, build lasting friendships with bands from across the region, and get an exclusive preview of Pacific Crest’s 2026 production. From leadership workshops to rehearsals and unforgettable performances, every moment was filled with inspiration and memories we’ll bring back to our program.
Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible—we can’t wait to put what we learned into action this season!
