Husky Shepherd - Kairo
Kairo looks just like my old boy Keeba. Super sweet, a little dog reactive but a gentle ol’ girl!

Norwegian Lundehund - Fry
These guys were designed to hunt Puffins!

From Norway’s rocky island of Vaeroy, the uniquely constructed Norwegian Lundehund is the only dog breed created for the job of puffin hunting. With puffins now a protected species, today’s Lundehund is a friendly, athletic companion.

At a glance, Lundehunds seem a typical northern breed: A spitz type with triangular ears, curving tail, and a dense double coat. But a closer look reveals several unique traits. They have feet with at least six fully functioning toes and extra paw pads, an ‘elastic neck’ that can crane back so the head touches the spine, ears that fold shut, and flexible shoulders that allow forelegs to extend to the side, perpendicular to the body. This last anomaly produces the breed’s distinctive ‘rotary’ gait.

Pronunciation - Norwegian Lun-duh-hund

@vanswarpedtour ‘25 kicked our ass but holy shit was it amazing. The amount of bands to check off the bucket list of seeing live is wild. Couldn’t have done it without my favorite little festival crew. Welcome back warped! 🖤

✨UP FOR ADOPTION✨

Everyone say hello to Kobe! ❤️

Kobe is a 4 year old Pitbull/Boxer mix who is hunting for a new place to call his own. He came to us as an emergency rescue situation after his owner found him being neglected by the people he entrusted to watch him while he was unable to. Kobe’s backstory might sound sad, but this man has a new lease on life and has the heart of a giant who is focusing on the future.

The Good:
-Loves water. Swimming, puddles, chasing the hose. Everything about water is his favorite
-LOVES toys. He will carry them around for hours just to have them
-Loves to play tug
-Knows basic commands: Sit, Down, Place, Recall, Out, Leave It, impulse control for meals
-Kennel trained
-Slip leash, prong, and ecollar trained
-Introduced to off leash life and has a pretty solid recall
-walks well on a leash with appropriate gear
-will GENEROUSLY shake your hand
-Super food driven. This man will do anything for a snack
-Human Social. Even given his background he has never met a stranger.
-Neutered
-Up to date on all vaccines until May 2026

The Bad(and genetics):
-High prey drive. Kobe wants to chase critters and squirrels and cats and will chase to kill. He cannot live with small animals.
-Dog Social In Progress. We have had him out with other dogs, but in true pit bull fashion he is very forward with his dog greetings and gets overstimulated quickly. He is very social with our female malinois who can read dog cues well, but a bit stiff around insecure or nervous dogs. He is working on it and it could be a potential possibility down the road with continued training, but as of now he cannot go to a home with other dogs that he interacts with without management.
-Not kid friendly. Kobe is a moose of a dog, and has no body awareness. He will absolutely bowl a small child over without even knowing he has done it. He cannot go to a home with kids.
-Has displayed handler redirection when in drive and has climbed the leash after being told he cannot chase. This is getting MUCH better but it is still something he is working through.

Kobe has a $350 rehoming fee. Let’s get this dude a good hiking and couch spot to land!

Just a group photo of our pets. Now we have painted 4 of our animals…all we have left is to do Tink and Salem. I highly recommend Paint Your Pet at @pinotspalette. The ladies that lead the session are always insanely helpful and the bonus is there is alcohol so you can shut your inner critic off and just let the creative juices flow. #pinotspalette #paintyourpet #paint #fun #art #group #colors
