Photos from a Wall Games 2026 walk on Bank Holiday Monday 📷 🎨.

Some of the incredible street art taking shape around Northampton over the weekend at Wall Games 2026.

More than 330 artists came together from across the UK and beyond, transforming walls around the town centre and giving us the chance to watch some of them at work.

I wanted to capture a little more than just the finished murals - some of the artists creating them, people stopping to look, and the artwork as part of the streets and spaces around it.

A huge amount of talent, time and effort goes into creating amazing work like this, with many of the artists travelling from across the country to take part. If you discover an artist whose work you love, please look them up, give them a follow and support their work where you can. That support matters, and helps artists continue creating and contributing to projects like this.

If you're in the area, check out the @wallgamesuk website and their Social Media for more information on locations and artists.

If you recognise any artists I've missed tagging, comment below and I'll add!

Yesterday and today we had @pad303 come and paint a fantastic mural on the wall outside on the terrace. He comes and paints for @mitchellsmiracles which is a fantastic charity and then we donate to the charity.❤️
I think you will agree it brightens up the Terrace.

father’s day / strange shelter

(J Dilla’s track ‘Bye’ was on this but it’s not on Insta now)

When my dad left, I started looking at the sky every morning walking to school. Overarchingly beautiful, and he was somewhere under it.

The last time he left I was 11. My shelter from the storm (Dylan), my working-class hero (Lennon). Active in the Socialist Workers Party and the Labour Party, he liked a party - he was an alcoholic most his life, and all of mine. Before he went, I sang The Red Flag (before Bragg) to him, a parting hymn. The words were on a poster he stuck up in our downstairs toilet. He died 20+ years ago, but I can hear him through the dark night (Stewart); a Starman (Bowie), and the beat goes on la de da de da (The All Seeing I).

I was the last to leave the hospital, but I see his grit, wit, and scratchy sensitivity everywhere.

A slightly atypical Easter Sunday: an urgent referral appointment at the MRI department at St Thomas', followed by a walk through Leake Street Arches to admire the amazing street art, and a hot chocolate in the sun with a good book at a café on Lower Marsh before getting the bus home. #leakestreetarches #leakestreetgraffititunnel #waterloo #london #streetart #art #cockney_green #hebsarte #mypenleaks #easter #spring #springwalk
