A historic week for international women’s padel! From October 12–15, 2026, Padel X in Miami hosted the first-ever Athena Padel Cup Women’s Invitational, presented by GreenOak.
Held during National Padel Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this premier event brought together athletes from the U.S., U.K., and Mexico across four age divisions. Beyond the competitive matches, players enjoyed a full wellness program featuring clinics, yoga, cold plunges, a welcome dinner under the stars, and a Miami yacht cruise.

🏆 FINAL TEAM STANDINGS:
•🥇 1st Place: Team Britannia
•🥈 2nd Place: USA Stars
•🥉 3rd Place (Tie): USA Stripes & Team Mexico

Dates for the 2027 edition are already set for October 12–15, 2027 as this event continues to position the U.S. as a top destination for global women’s padel!

🌴 The inaugural Athena Padel Cup officially got underway with a VIP White Party at Padel X on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach earlier in the week.

🥂 Players, organizers, partners and guests gathered to kick off four days of international women’s padel competition featuring teams from the United States, United Kingdom and Mexico.

✨ Founded by Andi Neugarten of 6 Love Sports, Athena was created to connect women from different countries through competitive padel, community and shared experiences on and off the court.

🤍 The White Party set the tone for the week, combining the social side of padel with the international community Athena is working to build around the sport.

The Athena Padel Cup. A week of celebration, connection, friendship and incredible padel. 🤍🎾

From the welcome dinner to every moment on court, the courtside experiences, the gifting, the celebrations and all the special touches in between, every detail was designed to make each participant feel celebrated.

And that is exactly what this week became.

Players came together from the USA, UK and Mexico to compete, connect, laugh, cheer for one another and create friendships that will continue long after the final match.

The inaugural Athena Padel Cup exceeded everything we imagined, and this is only the beginning.

Athena Padel Cup is here to stay and will become a fixture on the international women’s padel calendar. I have a special thank you to all of the incredible sponsors who made this event possible.
